i was wiring up some 315w lec vert cords and when i went to test them i thought they weren't as bright as my sun system 315's. I took a closer look at the ballast and found a selector switch underneath a plug at the end of the ballast where its stamped 210w on one end and 315w at the other, after removing the plug i saw mine was set to 210w. I unpacked my other ballasts and they where all set to 210w as well. anyway i set mine to 315w and everything's good.
i normally wouldn't be surprised on finding this but this weekend I was at 2 different grows where these ballasts where being used(and have been for a little while) and after checking their switches I found them to be running at 210w.
so if anybody out there is running this ballast and hasn't check their selector switch i think u should go and take a look.
