Anyone ever experienced this before?

The problem I was having is they weren’t eating if I would water them once every 4-5 days if I did more they would show signs of over watering , first time I checked my run off ppm it was ridiculous went to over 5000 before my meter said error so I did a heavy flush to get it in the 2000’s and they finally started growing now I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but last 3feeds ago I did 1080ppm 6.3ph run off was 2010 5.2ph next feed 240 or so ppm ph was 7.5 run off 1440ppm and ph of 5.4 today did a water feed 7.1ph and run off ppm is 1020 and ph is 5.9 I just hit week 8 starting to worry they aren’t going to fatten up and my friend said I’ll be lucky to get a pound and just to feed water for the next 10days and they should be ready

You most likely had a salt build up from not watering enough. When coco dries out it can create salt pockets in the coco. When you check runoff the fed you are using hits these build ups and you get that sky high run off reading.

You are variation in your feed EC and pH is way too much. Going from 1080 ppm -> 240 ppm and 6.3 pH -> 7.5 pH from one feeding to the next is not good for the plants. Coco should be fed at 5.5 pH to 6.5 pH, with about 5.8 pH as optimal, but I know a bunch of people that feed at 6.0 pH.

Also don't listen to your friend, those plants are not even close to finishing. Best of luck.
