I am currently forced to have my clones in a small grow box that I made. The box is about a foot and a half tall, a foot and a half deep and four feet long. I already have one pulled out to the side and it seems to be growing nicely but is there any special way i should trim it to keep it growing sideways or just keep wieghing it down as it grows longer?bongsmilie

Heres one that me and my buddy grew together. We kept it in 20oz soda cup till it was done stretching (during flowering) and then transplanted it to the bigger container which wasn't much bigger. it got to be about 9-10" when it was done. I think it yielded almost 7-10 grams. If i ever did a bonsai again i think i would top at least once maybe twice to increase the yield. Heres a picture of one to give you an idea

It can help to top the plant at least once. I grow fairly small plants - I top them, and then train the branches out. Sometimes I top the side branches too if I have the extra time/space to veg.

By removing the top, the plant is forced to redirect the energy used for the main stalk and cola to the side branches. Depending on when you do it, you can end up with 2 or 4 colas. If the branches are also topped, you can get lots more.

I do lots of training to my plants - I've found that topping them also allows me to be more symetric in training.

It only takes a day or two for them to recover and start growing again. I've never had any problems doing it.
