im planning on doing a bonsai if my seeds hatch. I assume as long as its in a small pot it will keep small. There is material on the net if you do a google, im planning on doing one so i can have it on my desk.

I've been considering trying to make a bonsai out of one of my plants. Normally a bonsai takes years to really start to look good. I think you could do it a lot quicker with a mj plant because it grows far quicker than what you would normally use to as a bonsai plant. Also it would probably be better to put it into a decent sized pot because the faster it grows the faster you can train it. I know my mother plants have some nice trunks on them and they're not very old. They could probably be turned into some mini tree's with a little work. Also a bonsai doesn;t take a whole lot of work each day it's just that you really need to do a little each day rather than once a week or something like that. Especially with a fast growing plant.

Bonsai take Years, even a life time to grow. You should start one ASAP because you could be passing it on when you die if you take care of it.

After a year or two it will start to look good, it depends how well you train them and how well you take care of them.

I know people who grow them, I dont grow any myself, but I have really been wanting to start growing one as a bit of a hobby.

As far as an MJ bonsai....I dunno about that, MJ grows too fast and probably wouldnt work out so well.
