Anyone ever had seeds not show up?

Not sure if this is the right section to post this question in. But has anyone ever ordered seeds online and had them not show up?

Hundreds of orders over 30+ years and I've lost 3 packages to Chicago ISC, and that's it, everything else came, from both international and domestic sellers. Those three that were intercepted were sent again by Attitude (had delivery insurance) and I received them the second time. I've never had a concern ordering from Domestic banks. Also, I've sent cash all over the world back in the day, and dozens of times to domestic banks, and I've never had my cash stolen once either! I even just received my first seeds from India. Not to rub it in your face or anything lol...Did someone rip you off or what?

nope never had a single order not show up ive had them come late sure even had double what i ordered show up that was from rsc/kwikseeds and ive bought from world wide pretty much mind you i only shop with folks that come recommended and i dont spend money with shitty people in general like i wont buy from folks who steal lines etc i care more for people who love the plant than folks who just do it for £$€ i have more seeds than i can ever grow so aint like i only buy them now and then neither maybe the fact im from the uk factors in a tiny bit too seeds are fine here but i know aus some parts of asia and some bits of the usa its not always the case

I ordered from what I’ve heard to be a reputable seed bank. It shipped super quick and I have a tracking number but it says it’s been sitting in customs office for like 4 days now.

Mine have been sitting in customs since July 29. They are the seeds I won here from Herbies so I'm not terribly worried about it, but it is annoying. Haha

As long as your package doesn't go through Chicago isc you'll be fine..that place is a black hole as far as any kind of package goes through there.

Perfectly normal
Most seeds and other items get stalled like that
No worries it will be delivered before your tracking shows it

What's an average time to be hung up in customs? Or is it just what it is?

I’ve waited a few days to weeks

Chicago CBP got a box of Habanos (Partagas) cigars once, but that’s a different weed entirely.
I’ve been lucky on seeds.

I had one Zookies × Super Lemon SMAC seed from Purple City Genetics not sprout. Another seed sprouted, but it took weeks to emerge from the soil. I purchased them at Buds & Roses in Studio City, California.

Someone in Chicago has a nice seed collection.

Im not even american and even ive heard your chicago mail sorting centre seems to be where seeds go to dissapear according to on here anyway lol

Herbies are good people. Ive known them from when they were originally in the uk an in a shop called hocus-pocus. You should have no worries with there side. As for customs sometimes, especially around the virus lockdowns things were being held for upto 3 months. I wouldn't worry to much about four days, id say nowadays 3-10 days is about average. Lets us know when you get any more info. Good luck

Looks like mine should be on the way now. At least I hope that's what that means. Haha

i waited almost 3 months at one point for seeds . well gave up waiting and they arrived 3 months late . that was from seedsman like 3 years ago
