i have read that it sucks....
Should have asked BEFORE you wasted $8.
Doesn't even make a good paperweight.

for now i say return it and get the ph testers that are done with the green tablets. there located right next to where you got the ph meter im sure...
its called a soil test kit you can use it ten times... its 16-17 bucks ( it also comes with ten of each to check n-p-k levels)
im in the same boat and saving up for a proper ph reader. but at least this should last one grow

have same meter mine works great its all hoe u use it make sure it is at root level i grow in 5 gal ..make sue its almost all way down into soil so that the prongs go all way down to bottom u will get a correct reading ..have a millwalkie meter cost 80 bucks is awsome but i get same readings cheap 1 off by like maybe a point or 2
