Anyone familiar with "the church"?

So I'm getting started on the 2011 season and I'm trying to pick a great strain. This will be grown outdoors in the pacific northwest. The climate out here is obviously very wet so I need something extremely mold resistant. Apparently these genetics are from switzerland and mountainous regions. I did a quick search and didn't see anyone with any "the church" grow journals. I would appreciate any more information about this strain, please and thanks!

i couldn't tell you about the church but i have been looking for mold resistan strains as well. northwestern PA isn't that rainy but we have rather humid weather during the summer. anyhow... these are a few mold resistant strains i am looking into. i purchased Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk, and looking at Dutch Passion's Frisian Dew. Also Holland's Hope is supposed to be mold resistant as well as Soma Seeds Reclining Buddha which is supposed to taste like sweet cherry candy. let me know what you end up choosing.

The Church is a slow vegger, but takes off in flower. They get huge. Its a big producer, but the smoke is very average. They should yield a ton outdoors though.

When I first had this plant in veg I thought it was kind of runty. The leaves are small in comparison to other hybrid types of pot plants. I was not impressed by the size of the buds once they started to flower.............BUT, they took off after 2 weeks of flowering and started to explode.

The small leaves were actually quite helpful in getting light halfway down the plant. Every bud under the colas were dense instead of the usual popcorn fluff. The buds are very frosty and are on a hanger drying right now. I believe I will get a bit over 2 ounces from it. I will try out the smoke in a week or so.

thanks for this info. the church is a pretty sick strain.
in dec i heard there was a bad batch of seeds going around so i didnt get any at the time. one thing about this strain apparently is that you end up with a crazy load of trich by the end.

Ive grown it in my perpetual grow. It isnt in the grow any more.

Nice smell and above average yields, but the quality isnt there in the smoke IMO and the opinion of EVERY person I tried it with. A friend called it "pretendica" because of the nice appearance and smell that lacks any real punch.
