Anybody else listen to the compound potcast and think he don't know what the fuck he's talking about? 20 min in and I was done listening to that bullshit. Still riding wyeast wave no different than oni ripping off harry palms. Jeff mentioned awhile back that fool doesn't even grow let alone breed. Can't believe people support these clowns
mentioned where? I am in search of IG/YT/Spotify breeder/weed content

Needs to be talked about more tbh. Tired of clowns like like these taking over a brand someone else built from the ground up when they don’t even grow themselves. Seems like a common thing happening in the industry (Jeff & Compound, Harry & Oni, Shantibaba/Mr. Nice & Green House, etc) In the end anyone buying seeds from the company isn’t supporting the actual breeder of their favorite strains, they’re supporting the fuckheads who bought the real breeders out of their company. Kinda sucks rado’s been working with compound too. Compound hasn’t released anything that they’ve worked on, just like most other “breeders” they’re just pollen chucking onto elite clones
Thats why i dont and refuse to pay crazy prices for seed genetics, when I know popular breeders will eventually use all the hype stuff later by way of crosses

Ya go look at my some of the recent posts in the ggg thread, we talk about just this, pretty much the seed bubble has burst-people don't want to be paying high prices for packs anymore and don't need to be. There is so much fire genetics readily available for under $100 a pack.

I think that such breeders as crane city and wyeastfarms are also overpriced, but they are worth the money they ask for.
In any case, if you recalculate the price of the crop for the grown gram, it does not come out expensive.
Just look at such breeders as Hoku seed and Highalpine genetics, they do no less work and ask for 1$ for 1 seed.

Wyeast is definitely not overpriced they go for $120-$150 a pack.

Jokerz(white runtz x jetfuel gelato) these pics don't do the plant justice, the jokerz is really nice. My first time running her-will have her dialed in next run. This jokerz has a smell of hot glue adhesive and candy, smells insane-

This looks FIRE. Were you able to dial it in better on your second run? Any pics? I’ve been trying to get my hands on these CG Jokerz but its sold out everywhere :(

The cut was actually terrible, I trashed it after 2 runs, only kept it around because it was a pricey cut and thought it just might need to be dialed in. We'll it was dialed in to the max, considering my environment is near perfect and everything else in the room was coming out fantastic. Anyways I told the vendor and he said there was other complaints about the jokerz so he took it off the menu and sent me a free cut. This jokerz was supposedly a breeders cut, so ya.

I have no idea what they do or what they don't so this is speculation but it looks to me like they come out with a lot of crosses. I don't think they are pulling lines on purpose i think they are selling out of them and know they will have variation between runs if they try to recreate a cross without working it deeper. In fact I've never really seen compound or most of these new fire breeders offer a line long term. Look at paradise seeds, guy has been selling the same stable strains for idk 20 years, and if you buy them they will be the same as what you grew ten years ago and they will be very uniform. It's a different setup with a different goal i think. In fact i doubt we will ever see a strain from them that is in production or available longer than 6 months. That's also how they keep up the hype and charge so much, by keeping the flavors rotating and in short supply.
Exactly! And breeders who play these games need to be boycotted, !
