Anyone still primarily use t5s

I keep a 4 tube 24" fixture around. Used to use it for germ/early veg, but the little 120-150 watt lm301b fixtures that every company has put out are so good, now I just use my t5s for germing seeds in winter. You can keep a PERFECT temp on top of the soil with a little temp probe and some height adjustment and just keep them on 24 hours a day for 10 days or so until your seedlings get established. Really great tool during the winter.

I’m pretty sure I’m happier with my led. But my t5 covers so much more space And bulbs are easily changed. Led is much more cost efficient. And flowering wise looks so much better then under a t5.

The REAL QUESTION HERE is - How many of you that have switched from T5's to LED's are 100% satisfied with the Plant Health under the LED's vs what you were used to under T5??
I have gone back to my t5 in veg and clones. I have not found a led veg light that I like. I also use my 315 3mh but it is too much to just keep mothers. The t5 bulbs suck still but the lush green and slower growth are worth it.

I totally agree for clones. I haven't has as good of luck with LED's.
I have two HLG 350r in boxes because I thought they could go in my mother tent at 50% or less. They fried my mothers took them out five days after install. Money sitting in a box(I use them in flower and they are excellent lights).
Seriously though about buying two more agrobrite 216w 4' since the CMH315 are on a 12 hr timer and I have cheap led 4' strip lights at 60w on for 18 hrs. I have thought about the HLG 150 bar light tho.

I love my 4 bulb HO T5. I got a 100 watt LED for the veg tent but it doesn't have as good of coverage and the plants were showing issues when I was using it so I put the T5 back in and will just keep using it. I don't have time to be worrying and fiddling around with PAR, VPD, temps, etc... With the T5 the plants were always healthy and lush. Plus the distance requirement with the LED takes up too much vertical space in a 4ft tall tent.

I'm sticking with the T5 in the veg tent. One thing I noticed is that when I had the LED running some of the plants were exhibiting some of the same issues I see people posting about all the time. What's wrong with my leaves, etc... I never had any issue with the T5.

I spoke to hlg they nicely agreed with my finding lol. The lights are too much. I considered buying a par meter but then common sense kicked in and went back to healthy slow growth lush greenplants with t5.

for me it's t8s for clones/seedlings, led for veg and flower. once I get to the 2 or 3 node my plants have no issues with led, but seedlings and fresh clones seem to stress. last run was the first run I brought the florescents out in a long time and the babies were happier.

for veg? yes, %100 happy with led. my seedlings and clones don't like them much though.

2x4 sunblaster t5 user for seedlings
We grow our own romaine for Caesar salad’s and a variety of cherry tomatoes.
Works great for stout leafy growth.

Never tried to flower, but my marigolds did start to flower under them.

I currently enjoy using a mars sp3000 for flower and now I’m trying it to reveg clones.

Plants seem to take off right away after the t5 veg.
I still like using the t5 because you can put them right on top almost touching leafs.
