Is this just potassium bicarb? Or are there other propritarity ingredients in it? And how did it work? Says its good for 3 weeks and safe up to 2 hours before consuming, but i cant find the ingredients.

Also available as "green cure".

It works, but don't use at more then 1/2 the max listed concentration on Canna or you'll burn them !!!!

I hate Neem oil! Your putting an oil on a plant and it's effect on mites will not kill them all and they get immune to it. Now your breeding super mites in a sense.
It's NOT "best" for PM.

Google "Horsetail Grass tea". Find a bulk amount for sale - buy it!
Brew the tea as directed. Cool it down and fill you're spray bottle.
Spray the tea on all of the plant and the surface of the media your in......Safe to use right up to harvest day. Plants LIKE it and it's organic.

Cure the whole smear like this and in this order!
Now your still going to have PM spores milling about in your room. You need to kill them off too.
Make a batch of bleach sanitizing solution. Remove the plants from the room/area.
Spray down EVERYTHING. The walls, floor, ceiling, shelves, bottles - EVERYTHING!

Now treat the plants with the "tea" and bring them back in..

Now your done with PM if you did it right!

And dr who the horsetail grass tea is suppose to kill the pm in the plant or are you suppose to keep treating then when your grow is done clean everything and start over fresh?
 
It's just dumb to "think" you can treat the plant for these kinds of things. you have to fix/treat the grow-op:)
 
People spray stuff on their plant(s) not realizing that the problem is in how they are operating their grow-op. ie, Spidermite eggs can come from a freshly hacht seedling. The eggs can live inside the seed. High humidity, poor air movement and spores lead to pm. High humidity alone will not cause pm. When you bring such thing as fruit into your grow-op you are risking infection from countless parasites and nuisances. Using growing mediums that are not fully composted also invites many problems.

Humidity is high over the past week because of rain, but everything else is fine....more then enough air movement and light, but im an arborist, so i could have very well brought it into my grow from not changing my clothes one day to maybe i should have showered befor i went to the grow aftee a long day, pm can come in any number of ways

I got interupted on my last post ..but yeah Pm(Powdery Mildew) you gotta take seriously, is best to post a pic to confirm
I am expecting a visit from the Pm queen any day, with practice you can make life very difficult for her

1: very gently extract her from the grow room
2: in very bad cases, snip of the twig with the mold, leave an 1-2 inch clear below mold
3: wrap the pot base in a plastic trash bag
4: and dip the whole plant, not the pot, into a bath of warm air termp. water and 5-10% household bleach
5: allow to dry in a dim warm windy place for 2 hours

this kills the spores immediately turns them to a mush ..shit

this works well

once dry I then re apply the neem oil, as a tree worker you know Neem ..?

Yes i know neem....it works for a multitude of things....i guess what i was getting at with this post is if you find a very mild infection (like on a few fan leaves) of pm and are close to harvest, could something like this get it to harvest, you know like if you had 10 plants and 2 had pm showing only on 5 or so fan leaves each (after a very close inspection) wold something like this hold it at bay?

I belive this product is primarily potassium bicarb and should be safe to use up to harvest....and if it does actually kill it (possibly along with a h2o2 wash like jorge cervantes uses) in a case like that the plant should be salvaged for its intended use, yes?

Ive found no clear info either way about this. However i have seen many people with pm treating, harvesting and indicating they would smoke it......i would want it not there firstly, secon choice would to know it was dead and posed no threat because it was dead

so I had to save my babe and did the above technique many times now with great success,

the deal really is ..these spores are everywhere and its the climate, and local environment that sets them off

for this reason theres gotta be spores in every growers weed to some degree, catching it early enough means

less spores, too many spores? .. its best to make hash or cookies, depending how far from harvest you are,

you may consider removing the worst of the fans...?

Thats pretty much the info i needed....ill cull a plant early into bloom or highly infected but if you have a plant showing on some fan leaves only late in bloom and its gonna be a 6+oz plant it would a shame to trash that

Treat the grow op and then the plants - bring the plants back in when done spraying them......I've did this last time I had PM,,,,,,5 years ago......It worked then - it will work now..

If your grow-op is operated properly you'll never have PM. I run non-organic 100% synthetic. I burn charcoal in the op during times of high humidity to stop spores (if any) before they get started. Make sure the plant(s) don't come in contact with plastic. Wash/clean the op regularly with bleach and water. About every six months or so clean the op with liquid raid. Use a filter on the intake vent. Don't bring anything into the op such as fruit and other food items that can harbour parasites. I don't bring soil into the op as soil can harbour a multitude of problems. Steer clear of organic co2 etc.
