plant light hydroponics is where i found them...they have another 1 for 100 bucks...Just wanna know if they work better than homemade carbon filter to sit in corner of space with no fan running thru it obviously...Odor is a big problem so would like to kill it and thats what they say the generators do, is this true...

Pretty sure Ozone can damage your plants & it will definitely effect the quality of how it will smell in a jar/bag...

An Ozone generator is no replacement for a carbon filter. It will remove odor, but you'd have to run it unitl it was dangerous for humans to be around before it would remove all odor from an MJ grow. What it is good for is removing residual smell after carbon filtration. I have one and I run it for 15 minutes every hour half. The room smells like warm rain an no MJ smell.

Do you have it set up in the grow room or outside of it. I have one along with a carbon filter and would like to know how/where to use it for best results.
I have the larger unit, not the JR.

I bought that same ozone jr earlier this year and it stopped working twice and I had to return it. But it did a great job at removing smells from my house. I finally built one from plans on line and made it into a inline ozone generator that exhaust into my attic. No worries about too much o3 now.

I would need it in my room where i sleep though...And this is dangerous is what im getting from everyone right??? Could i make or put a carbon filter in the corner of my grow space with a fan blowing in its direction, would this work at all??? Im NOT able to cut any hole or run ducting of any sorts...Heat hasnt been a prob but when plants r flowering it smells soooo strong....So basically im open for ideas on how to get ride of the smell...Thanks and have a good one everyone

You could just put a carbon filter with fan in the room and turn it on. I have seen that work for at least reducing the smell in a sealed environment and would no doubt at least help in this situation.

my dormmate just had lots of hoes which made for sex funk which never goes away really, so maybe rent the room out to a few hookers, or move out of your parents house

ive used the ozone jr., i think it works great but wouldnt recommend it for a bedroom...not too sure about the health effects, but the intense bleachy odor builds up in no time in the corner of my garage so i try using a fan with it.....i ended up putting it on a timer which may work for you, but anything over a minute would be too much in your situation
now im using ona mist air freshner with the timed dispenser and its the best odor protection ive had so far....1 shot every 15 minutes during flowering is all i needed in a garage

You can also go the old school pinesol/ona bucket. If you search "Roseman odor bucket" it should come up. He's got at least one thread where he takes credit for it. Cheap and effective.

ozone will eliminate smells, but DONT put these in your grow room.
dont put them in rooms where you sleep.
exhause your grow room into somewhere, and have the generator in there

I am actually abandoning my ozone generator and I am pretty thankful that I haven't been using it lately. They are pretty dangerous to humans and just don't do enough good to be worth the risk/damage.
