Heres what Im tinkering with. Instead of 5 strains or 5 different grows or whatever. I keep my count to 3 for perpetual.

plant 1 put in flower a month a head of plant 2(clone/or seed). Plant 3 veg until Plant 1 is done then repeat. So to ensure I have enough flower and trim for rso Ill plant in a bigger container. 32 gal brute garbage can with air pruiningView attachment 4618880View attachment 4618879View attachment 4618878
This looks interesting! What are the cans lined with?

Hello there friends! I have some updates from the hoop house known as, Parts Unknown! First these ladies are getting out of hand! Every darn day more bending and tying and super cropping and trying to get the dang trellis netting to cooperate.... that stuff can be frustrating at times. And I know, I know,,,, I've got some real first world problems on my hands.
But seriously, things are growing great in there. In fact the only place you can move around in there without touching a pot leaf is just inside the damn door. Until yesterday I was down to less than two feet of space above with three of the plants. And after tying them lower and supercropping the tops, i still don't have much more. By noon today they had taken back most of what I had gained. And they are beautiful!

They have filled in so much its next to impossible for me to get a picture of a single plant. Our other plants in there are doing great too. Any way here are some picks of the goings on in Parts Unknown- first plant in the door, Strawberry Banana Sherbet -20200723_135822.jpg
Second, Alien Rock Candy -20200723_135645.jpg
Third, Alien Rock Candy #2-20200723_135719.jpg

fourth - Dutch Passion, Passion Fruit. 20200723_135901.jpg
And #5- my I. G. Cush reveg from the last crop!20200724_024818.jpg
I hope all of you are doing well and that all of your growing, is going great!!! Love you all! And good luck friends!

Oh I forgot to mention I started using Soil Balance Pro and decided to use a control plant to see the difference. My Alien Rock Candy plants were virtually the same size. The first (the control) was slightly larger than the second. I gave the sbp to all the plants but the first ARC (it was given an equivalent amount of water to the SBP mixed water) After only a week the results on growth were completely noticeable. The slightly smaller second ARC plant out grew the first quickly.
I was going to go through an entire comparative grow with the stuff. But after seeing the effects on the other four plants, I feel like I'm doing the first ARC kinda dirty.

I am using the SBP on my friends indoor grow too and the results there are looking amazing! I would recommend giving it a shot to all of you. And the company will send you a free sample to try for yourself. The stuff really helped put my plants ahead of the game. And its supposed to really help boost terpene and resin content. So anyway, I believe they are worth a shot. Ya' can't beat free, right?
Good luck friend!

Free world problems.

I had big bud rot problems, but the 2nd harvest with 1 plant was heavier than the 1st harvest with 3 plants in spite of the larger losses and not including the seeded bud.

Have you tried potassium bicarbonate and silica? Both of those have become near and dear to my heart. Since I started spraying with both and giving my plants a boost of silica in their feeding I have had zero bud rot problems...
Well the bt probably helps out too. Outside ya' really gotta watch out for boring worms.
Indoor I just add silica to there feed.

I was wondering if silica would help. I was going to try that. I just found out about potassium bicarbonate and wondered if it was allowed with cannabis inhalation. I think part of the problem is strawberries just got done throwing the spores for it.

It (potassium bicarbonate) is used by professionals growers around the world on many different types of plants. It is safe for the plants at the right concentrations (too high and it can cause burn). I have used it in flower at light doses with silica and haven't had any issues with PM or bud rot. I haven't sprayed until the day of harvest before but have known others who have without any problems.
It seems to help, to start with both the potassium bicarbonate and silica before you have any problems. The silica works wonders. Just add it to the waterings. Silica also helps with a lot of other things related to plant health, makes your plants less desirable to insects and helps strengthen cellular walls making them less prone to wilting during dry conditions.
I would give both of them a try. Just pick one of the many silica products on the market and go from there. For the potassium bicarbonate, there are some commercially available products but its cheaper to just get it on Amazon.
I hope you never have to go through dealing with any of those plant issues again friend. Good luck!

I'm switching to round 3.5g buckets. I'm excited to not need siphon hoses, swap buckets and pop them back in. It's the little things in life. :D
Compared to 3 plants in a storage tub that didn't easily fit through the door this will be a major improvement. I never could get those thinned out. One plant was better for training but nutrient changes were still a chore.

Lifetime supply of feminized seeds of the last one. Worth the delay getting other varieties but would've been more worth it had I pulled one from the first batch of 3 females and sprayed it instead of going from clones (I did try to get one to produce some pollen). From now on I either get regular seeds or 2 females sprouted, at least until I get enough variety stashed. Looking forward to getting some CBD variety harvests at 70s prices instead of IL dispensary prices. Oct to Nov sounds like such a long time away.

I would say it is
A few questions if you would:
Do you seal up the tent during lights on so the co2 stays? If so, How do you deal with heat and humidity?
What does a tank cost to fill and how long does it last?
Any other pertinent information you have would be appreciated. I'm thinking about giving it a go in a 4x8 tent.
