Anyone with SANlights?

I have 2x evo4 on 3x5 space, working great. I switch from cmh and hps and there is no way im going back. Just remember that these lights are so intensive that you must use extra co2.

the sanlights at your intensity @33.333333333w sq/ft, extra co2 is absolutely not neccesasary.

Thats what manufacturer recommended pretty clearly. First time with hardcore leds so im listening them.

well they are wrong.

still looks like you did good for a first run under "hardcore" led's, just didnt want the op thinking he had to run some additional co2 just to use the sanlights...

The dude on my local growstore (quoting from SANlight brochure I'm sure) said that The EVO 4-120 lights on 4x4 don't need CO2, but if I would go for the 5-120 lights (already overkill for my tent) which according to SANlight are not designed to use in tents but rather commercial grow setups with lots of height and space, would need the usage of dimmers during veg and additional CO2.

I am using and I think sanlight is better than lumatek . Sanlight have amazing design.

Yep i really like that design too. Is that Evo5?
And like @grotbags said looks like its very close to the canopy. I got my lights about 40cm from plants.

yes that q series i don't like. but the evo is awesome!
i was wanna buy lumatek before but I found they use china led .....and about the 600watts model . they have 4 different models!

yer the layout is not great, its to concentrated, you want your photons spread more evenly across your canopy...

i wasnt suggesting that seoul are incapable of making a class leading efficiant diode i have just never been made aware of one, what do the numbers look like for the most efficient white mid power currently offered by seoul?, think its the 3030c?.

@welight, mark while i have your ear, is there any news on new mid powers from cree, nichia ect that that are competative with samsungs new evo line?.

I read somewhere that cree was leaving leds behind to focus on other semiconductor development. Cree leds will still be made but under license or similar.

probably be epistar? think they already have a close relationship, do they not already supply the dies for crees red, deep red and far red?, i know they signed an agreement a few years ago to share each others patents...

I think its San'an or however they spell it but i also heard the epis of cree was from epistar. @welight would prob know. Anyways i would expect much more improvement from cree even though their current midpowers are quite bangforbucky.
