As usual, your logic fails because it uses the same word but you overlay a made up meaning onto it.

I keep asking what you mean when you use the word Progressive because how you use it isn't the same as it does in general use. Generally the word means "somebody who supports progress". You use it to mean something different altogether. The requirement of rigid adherence to ideological purity is one example where your use of the word diverges from common use.

Another logic failure of yours is based upon your claim that most people in this country are far left. There is no evidence of that.
