Apollo 11 cfl grow

After a modestly successful Aurora, and Amnesia Lemon grow, I'm ready to try an Apollo 11 grow. The strain claims to be a fast finisher, and a nice up high, so I thought documenting it would help me learn a little and keep my interest up.

Cfl grow

Hemp Depot, Joey Weed, Apollo 11 F2

Fox Farms Happy frog soil

Vigoro 24 8 16 for veg

Alaska 0 10 10 for flower

molassas most every water

I germed 4 seeds on Jan. 17th. Two were unviable. After 1 week I put one plant into flower and left one to veg and germed two more on Jan 25.

My plan is to get a mother as soon as possible. I will veg all plants, then take each one, one at a time, and put into flower untill I get a female.

This will ensure a 7-10 dayspace between flowering of each plant.

Sounds like a good plan. What sort of light setup are you using? I ask as I have a small cab that's being converted to a scrog with 5 fixed cfl's at the top and two cfl's hanging down close to the screen. Happy growing!

I have 4 fixed sockets that I put "Y" connectors on. and 2 overhead clamp lights with "Y" connectors. and 2 clamplights that I move around, so thats 12 I got goin by the end of the grow. I also have a 2 ft 2 light t5 that Im stickin in and around the 2 plants. As this is only my second grow I'm still trying to figure things out.

Mind if I pull up a seat? I'm looking to get started myself, and thinking about keeping it small with CFL's or maybe a 150-250w HPS cooltube. Keep us posted. Can't wait to see the turnout.

I seem to be getting only 50 % viability. prolly my fault but wtf. I got two plants, 2 weeks old,: one of which has been in flower for a week. I got one plant one week old, and one just popped today. As soon as the plant in flower shows whether it's got nuts or not, I can determin its fate and put the next one in flower.

Ok I got plant A, thats been in veg for 24 days. just started using
botanicare grow 100%
vigaro 25%
mollasses 1 tsp per quart
water ph'ed to 6.5


I just transplanted to a 6 qt container and used mycarrhiza spores to the soil as per pkg. instructions.

The plant is only about 5 in tall, I think I left it in the solo cup too long. Regardless, its tight and looks great even though its a little small. lets see what two weeks can do.

Botanicare bloom 100%

I got to say I'm not real fucking impressed with the Joey Weed Seed viability. 8 fucking seed to get 3 viable and I dont know if any are female. I've read a few threads talking about Joey Weed viability problems, but I dismissed them. All I want is one female

Okie doke. I tried to germ all 10 seeds, I got 5 that showed tail. The plant that I put into flower first looks to be quite robust and I think its showing signs of nuts. Ill wait 2 more days to be sure, before the coupe de gras.

Plant A has been in veg for a month, 6 nodes, and into 12/12 she goes tonite. The third seed to germ is a Forrest Gump looking fuck with sideways fucked up leaves. courtesy of the fine genitics from Joey Weed. Tell me this don't look like a Ra-tard. Thank god I kept a couple Aurora Indica clones going.

I got one male and one ra-tard so far, out of four fucking viable seeds. Thank you Hemp Depot.

Wll the Apollo 11 grow is a total fuckin bust. Out of the three viable two are fucking male, and the third looks like its a dude. When the Hemp Depot said their seeds were for souvineers they weren't fucking kidding. Fuck them cocksuckers.

Damn bro that sucks. I was reading through ready to tell you how awesome Apollo 11 is as a strain. I wouldn't blame Hemp Depot though unless you have already contacted them and they refused to make it right. I bet you they would replace the seeds or do something else to make you happy. I've dealt with them a few times and they seem like reasonable people. Joey Weed's seeds might be faulty but HD won't know unless customers like yourself tell them. Just be polite and let them know the issue.

If you were gonna try something else from HD I would recommend BC Roadkill or Bubba's Kush from Cannacopia. $35 each and killer smoke.

I'm growing in my shop so I kind of have the stealth thing goin on. Im interested in growing the bubba kush but not to sure of the odor factor. I just got Kali Mist, Aroma,Satoiri, Papaya,Hashberry,Blue Mystic, and Speed Queen seeds. on your advice, Ill give those strains a shot. Thanks

Wow, quite a lineup there. Kali Mist has been on my to-do list for a long time. I have very limited space though so I can't summon the willpower to grow anything that takes longer than 9 weeks to flower. But yea that's a nice stable there. I'm not familiar with Aroma though. Who makes that?

that's a mandala strain, I've heard mucho good things about it.

And of course,my generous email to Hemp Depot went unanswered. I stand by my claim that the Hemp Depot is a fuck hole scam.

I just love it when some guy with one grow under his belt, growing with CFLs in his shop with supermarket plant food, has one bad experience and slams an established, reputable and reliable seedbank. I'm sure from your detailed grow report that you had all the variables covered on your end (pH, temperature ranges, airflow, distance from lights, soil sterility, appropriate concentration of your nutes to not cause any root trauma, repotting in time, etc. etc... CLEARLY it's Joey Weed's fault and both he and Hemp Depot are scamming c@cksuckers or whatever you called them. I wouldn't pay you the time of day either if you had that whiny attitude. Hope your growing mad crops nonstop now, because nothing else matters except the seed, and you evidently didn't make any mistakes to learn from or that others could learn from, which is why I even bothered to read this ''grow log" in the first place. Thanks for wasting both of our time.

Yeah, I know that I wasted my own time writing this reply, but that was my choice. And just for anyone else who stumbles upon this thread in a futile quest for information, both my experiences w/ Hemp Depot were top notch, and the Joey NL x C99 seeds just planted were by far the biggest, stripiest, most mature seeds I have ever seen in my life - they made Mandala's seeds look small and caused a little splash when I dropped each of them in water - 4 out of 5 up so far, with the 5th coming up through the soil as we speak (I can hear faint rumbling noises)

And of course we Have Fuckzime who with his zero experience in plant morphology wants to question my actual lab experience with germination and Biology experience obtained at Amherst. What a fucking turd. But of course the cunt wouldn't Pm me or give any background other than some crack induced bullshit that he dropped a seed in the water, sweet.
