Apricot Cush Tricloud Project

Here is a picture of my current Apricot Cush grow, all plants were started from seed. We've now grown out over 91 female F2 Apricot Cush plants in the past few years and have finally made F3 seed. The seeded plants are about ready to harvest. Soon we will be able to test the F3's and see what our next move is. Usually takes about 60 days for seeds to dry so these might even get tested outdoors this year.

Apricot Cush is C99 X Green Crack. A few well respected growers and myself have confirmed that Apricot Cush is a cross that came out better than either parent. The effect is like meat and taters, sticks with you for a while unlike Green Crack. AC also keeps working for years as i've been smoking her for 3 years now and still love the uplifting effect. The flavor is unique and off the hook.

Wow, looks great! Need any additional testers? :)
Thanks Sampras. We're going to finish testing these at home. They are very stable so far, no hermies and quite consistent for F2's. I'm thinking the F3's are going to be even more consistent and just as potent but those are things i need to decide on personally since i've been working so close with her the past few years. When it's all said and done we might just use her for making some nice F1 hybrids and keep her at home. Lots of decisions need to be made yet.

Thanks for asking about testing though. Have some other projects that i may need help with soon.

Right on Tricloud .. Perhaps networking with the right Compassion Club ? I can understand if not lol .... But then again there is a few fine clubs this way with many people in need of genetics ..

tricloud, would you share some details of the setup you're running? I'm curious what growing medium you're using, ferts/organic, foliar feeding, that kind of stuff. you have some amazing frost going on such young plants.

+rep for skills.

Thanks bowlfullofbliss. It's really in the genetics, we don't do anything special. Basic organic teas made from guano's etc. We don't foliar feed and don't use CO2, very simple style. We grow in a mix of ProMix, worm castings and perlite. Use 1k HPS per grow in flower and T5's in veg. Burn 5 1k lamps in the flower room.

Message to Tri Cloud: I was lucky enough to sit next to you at the G3C a couple years ago and you shared some of that apricot with me it was phenomenal and I praised you for your talent but didnt know who you were at the time. First off thx again, secondly I would love to acquire a cut or some beans, the last but most important to me is that I also was lucky enough to get a cut of space crush this to date is my favorite medicine ever, sadly though my mother plant was lost. For over a year I have searched for a cut many disappointments no real space crush if you can point me in the right direction for a cut I would be greatly in your debt

Thanks Samcro, really appreciate your enthusiasm. I'm going to be making it up to the G3C soon and I'll make a post here and in other Michigan forums and on our website as to when. If you remind me to bring some Space Crush cuttings it might help lol. I'll try and bring some other cuts also but i can't release any Apricot Cush cuts or seeds yet. I will bring other seeds though and also some buds and maybe some BHO.

Space Crush is good medicine and she makes wonderful medibles. That's what the wife used to make her blueberry muffins that were a huge hit at the G3C back in the day. We hooked a lot of folks up with Space Crush cuts at the G3C but have been hearing that most folks have lost her for some reason or another. So it sure sounds like I need to take some Space Crush cuts up there.

Not exactly what's going to happen with Apricot Cush as a release right now. I know Apricot Cush will probably be used in some F1 crosses once finished and was just recently used to make the Green Crack back cross that I mentioned earlier. Have some projects planned for the future but for now we need to finish the project at hand.

I do think you will find some nice uplifting plants in our other varieties currently available in seed form. I plan on doing some journals on all our standard stuff. Maybe after that we can journal some special edition stuff too.

Thanks again for posting and I look forward to meeting up with you.

Peace,

We now have harvested Apricot Cush F3 seeds from 3 different F2 moms. In about 60 days they will be ready for testing. Going to do that in house because I know exactly what i'm looking for. Have a lot of confidence in the AC female plant we have been using the past 3 years though. Only time and testing will tell which path to follow.....

Just curious, when you say testing do you mean lab testing or do you mean just growing them out looking for desirable traits and patient testing?

Hey Huel Perkins, good question.

Possibly both but certainly grow testing and patient testing. We do get our meds tested from time to time so we know where we stand. We've had Apricot Cush tested and it came out 20-21% THC overall. I'd have to hunt down the lab sheet to get the particulars. The plant that we had tested wasn't the most potent Apricot Cush plant i've smoked so far either.

Had a few patients tell me that AC works good for their back pain. Had the same basic findings with C99 also.

Anyway we test everything we can to make sure our seeds produce high quality plants and excellent germination ratio's. Never want to be the guy who everyone is pointing their finger at saying our seeds create hermie junk. If our seeds have the slightest tendency to hermie there will be a warning on the package. Most everything we have released will produce plants that score 18%+ THC. It's all been lab tested at least once.

Thanks for asking, appreciate your interest.
