Interesting that they don't give you anything about the innards. Obviously they don't want to help anyone trying to diy.

I also notice it says its a hybrid aeroponics whatever that means. I wouldn't touch it unless I knew exactly how it worked.

Looks like a good setup. It says it has a 250gph mag drive pump. It looks like it would have a few sprayer tubes in it and then the hybrid part is most likely roots in water similar to dwc. I've built tube type areo's very similar to the hugeharvest system but with 6 tubes and 30 sites.

DIY- Pump 75-100, Tub 50-75 good and sturdy (rubbermaid for 32 sites would be one and done) 10-20 feet 1/2" sch40 pipe 10, sprayers 15-30, net pots 20-30, misc supplies 20-35. So roughly 190-280. The tub would be be very important in that it has to be strong, sure you can use a rubbermaid type tub but once it has any weight on its gone, plus they like to rupture when full of water (30 gallon totes and up with 15 gal of water or more). Once you have a pump and tub, everything else is easy to redo using the same parts. The sch40 pipe is cheap so you can always make new sprayer bars or reconfigure.

yea i figured it out pretty much today. i slowmoed through the see more buds movie toget it. the roots do sit in the water and im not sure the sprayer stays on. and its even more hybrid as to the mister head they use. we found everything on line to do a diy. in each of there tubs theres 3 sprayers, the cheapest mist head we could find was around 150.00 USD.

theres a link to a similar one but buy the time you do a diy the 3 mist heads alone are the same price as a big aquamist system. so i anseard my own ?s and for those of you who wanted to know thanks for the help buy the movie watch it buy the system use it

Ive had an aquamist system and its nothing special ,,, the mold is the only thing special about the system it has a recessed area for the pump so it will drain completely thats the only perk to the system other then that its garbo amigo I bet you could do better with a DIY cuz you could make 2 and then save yourself 400bucks .
about the inner workings of it its just a run of the mill manifold with the biggest 360 spinning sprayers I have ever seen but of course the mag drive does not have the nuts to push it so they glued some kind of mesh screening to something else that glued to the spinner to create the mist which is the only cool part to the 500 dollar piece of plastic

Ya I would do either pirates's diy system or stinkbuds system. Both very good. In the seemorebuds vid I think they should have thinned out the plants more, and they seem to be chemical-spray-happy imo.

i dont to much care for the stinkbud system i like the other in the DIY thread but its just something about the way the aquamist works inside that dont come close to those little sprinkler heads in that system. and the way he has it set up it has a seperate res underneath the actual res they grow in and it sprays and drains back down in the bottom res. the roots dont stay in the water. thats one thing i like about it. its a hybrid areo/dwc system. these are cloners i built the small one is the one i started with and ive added a airstone over time thats it the big one is same idea my brother just supersized it but i want to actually veg 2 to 3 weeks and then flower and wanna go with something similar to or like the aquamist.

So I just am trying the aquamist now. When you open up that drain does it automatically pump out the water?

I have to change for bloom and was just curious how that worked. I am a timid chickenshit and on my 2d grow. (first for aquamist).
Before I had an aeroponic 8 and those misters suck after a while. The aquamist looks like it's on steroids in comparison.

Thanks
