excuse my messy grow room. it's been over a month now with nutes over 1200ppm in my aquaponic system. the fish probably account for about 500ppm with another 700ppm in CalMag, silicate, and CNS17. Also add great white here and there. There's probably a little cloning gel in there too.

next step: hook this thing up to flowering! but that won't be for a few months. switching from buckets to NFT or pseudo-aero.

You can do that? Adding all that shit doesn't mess with the fish? Crazy!
They don't seem to mind a bit. i actually think the fish started growing faster after i started adding nutes. threw in a new batch of feeder fish the other day to see if they grow faster with nutes than the original gang did without nutes during the first few months. nutes pushed the pH from 5.9-6.0 down to 5.4-5.5-ish, but it has been super stable. fish get a little tweaky/speedy at such a low pH, but lots of food and lots of air seem to keep them healthy. had one dead goldfish out of the new batch the day after dropping them in there, but other than that, haven't had one death. oh, except for all but one goldfish that died in the very beginning. minnows seem indestructible. i'll keep an eye out for tumors, extra fins, and such.

don't tell PETA!
