Fabric pots air prune as well for a fraction of the cost
That is true and I've always been a fan of them. After seeing that these can come apart for transplant, its just about worth the extra cost. I've had a few plants in fabric pots that were very hard to get out. Most times I just ended up cutting it off. Only question I have now is how durable they are. How long have they lasted you guys? I finally found the link for online sales

I like them better than fabric pots for a couple of reasons. They do a better job of air pruning than fabric and they make transplanting effortless. I hate peeling fabric pots off of plants to transplant, tearing up the roots in the process. These will last forever, whereas fabric pots noticeably deteriorate after each grow. The actual air pot brand is very high quality-I have some 5 gal "equivalent" sold by HTG I think that are actually about 3.5 gallons and they are made of a different type of plastic-still excellent pots, but they won't be as durable as the Air Pot brand. Most important to me though is the drainage. Fabric pots stay sopping wet at the bottom, especially if you water frequently like with coco, I mean SOPPING wet. Air pots drain better AND dry out faster internally. I find they work amazingly well with coco and daily multifeeds.

I've had mine for about 10 years........I don't see why they wouldn't last another 10.
That's where I bought mine..........don't settle for the knock offs to save a few bucks...........there is definitely a difference.
