Hi guys, so I brought a few seeds from fastbuds while (there) new unreleased strain wedding chesse cake was on promo, I brought some gelato. skittlez and some G14 now I germinated them about 3 to 4days well they pop though the soil 3 to 4 days still nothing from the wedding cake 2 days ago I tried my last wedding cake in a paper towl (which its still in) but nothing as yet, 3 seed failed to germ all the same type wedding chesse cake but every other seed came up, anyelse had any look with the wedding chesse cake from fast buds ?

Yeah I thort that aswell tbh that released on promo to see germ rates and other feed back for them to correct in a other line before release, I've used fastbuds a few times and had the odd 1 or 2 not germ but 3 all being the same type is unacceptable

I just received 3 freebie Strawberry Cheesecake Autos from Fastbuds. Curious to see how they turn out, i'm germinating one for this next run.
I've germ'd 20+ GSC auto seeds from Fastbuds and i've only lost 1. I continue to use them for my auto grows.

I would be interested to know if it germs, I'd like to know if I just got unlucky with the 3 seeds or if fast buds hasn't perfected the wedding chesse cake or the whole cheesecake line

Strawberry Cheesecake auto is doing just fine. 27 days old.
Very strong smell though. Much stronger than GSC, which i thought was pretty punchy in the face. Carbon filter required.
One wedding cheese cake did cone though a week behind the rest, although it was only 3 seeds,its a bad experience for me 2/3 didn't pop and the one that did taken over week and it was really floppy I had to help stand until the stem grew a bit of gurth and she's the runt of the litter... But she is doing okay overall.. Ours are ruffly the same age I,d like to stay in contact here to see what we yeild from them and how potent they are and how they hold up against other "pukka" starins to see if fastbuds chesse cake is worth another goStrawberry Cheesecake auto is doing just fine. 27 days old.

I think there is a lot of tainted people making flippant assumptions personally...I've used a lot of Fastbuds gear and it has been great...(Also used Mephisto, Dinafem, Pyramid)
Ask yourself seriously...If you were a seed company would you seriously think pumping garbage out the door is in their best interest in an industry where reputation is everything...? Fast buds didn't get to be in the Top Five Autoflower companies IMO by pumping $hit..

Based on my personal experience I'll take your opinion with a grain of salt. I've used the gear, got three GSC's outside now. That's 3 for 5. Put in dirt and add water............piss poor germination but better than the last pack, only one survived. How about Tangiematic.....went 1 for 5. Piss poor germination, period. It's not just on this thread.....it's on threads on every site.
Hype sells, hype doesn't do shit for seeds that don't pop.

Tangiematic is one of my favorite Auto strains!.(I've grown about 20'different Auto strains)..All of mine germinated. I was so impressed with it..Nice plant..Great flavour and buzz...I've crossed it with White Widow, GG4 Auto (Expert), Amnesia Auto, Girl Scout Cookies Auto and Jack the Ripper photo.

As there's many comments and different opinions this with my personal opinion fastbuds overall is a great seedbank with some good strains and I've brought many seeds from them and still will. I normally get good germ rates and they have system in place to send more seeds if you prove the seeds you brought didn't come though (although I havent used it) the wedding cheese cake was a bad experience with the one that did come though grow big for a auto and didn't expect it and it got burnt to the point of no return so all failed so growers error on the last one but that being said I have had good experiences with other strains and I'm also getting there new strawberry pie to try free ( not due to the cheese cake failing) I have had 1 or 2 per pack fail in the past but I know that and still buy seeds from them so that for me atleast says something for them

I bought 10 packs in one purchase, $250. I'm honest so I decided to just grow out instead of trading/selling/dumping them to some unsuspecting fellow grower. On the 420 sale in 2019, fastbuds banded together two packs with their own fastbuds tape. That way on the 2 for 1 deal, they selected the two packs. It was a bullshit move. You ask why would they do it in another post.......well to pay the rent, that's why. Good way to get rid of your old stock and call it a promo.
I won't buy anymore, that's certain. I do think I got some bad packs and I also think they knew those free packs might be bad and that's why they taped them to a better pack. FastBuds did that personally. There are others that got these taped packs too, not just me. I wish it had a better ending, lol.
Maybe those 3 GSC's going will come in nice for me. I do like the tangie smoke from the plant I got fwiw.

You bought certain seeds under the understanding you would get free seeds too! The company still have the responsibility for having those seeds germinate....Any reputable company would replace them!
I'm guessing you're just pissed you didn't ask for replacements...

Yes the deal was 2 for 1. The deal wasn't two packs strapped together and inseperable.
Yes any reputable company would replace them. Actually, any reputable company would have replied to both emails that were sent. But they didn't. Not reputable behavior imo.
So it never got to the point of asking for replacements because they couldn't be bothered replying.
That's fine, I'm not hurting for money or seeds. But I will point out what shit their product is. That's comes as part of the admission price for screwing me around. I'll bring this up for ever and whenever I want. It's all true, and I don't mind repeating it.

I gave Seedsman my two cents when some GG4 from Expert didn't germ..I expected to have the seeds to be replaced with what I ordered..which didnt happen..they gave me a choice of one of their "inhouse"'strain..not the best option..but it at least pacified me a bit

I honestly say they replied to my messages on the website chat and email and even insta not straight away but all have been responded to even with covid I will say insta did take a few weeks for a response. Theres good and bad to every seedbank. Will say 2 packs taped together sound weird and I don't why they'd do that although I haven't experienced that my self. Starting this thread as opend my eyes to how so many seed banks make money fighting for sales in this space and came realize that not everyone will agree with certain banks. I think fastbuds has one of the best seed packing with the air bubbles and in viles where Phoenix seeds had paper thin paper packing you can feel the seeds though it I would not buy from Phoenix again for there poor quilty packing. But the tread is bs one side say they are great other side say there bad. No point in bitching over you personal opinion you do you.
