You'd be much better off just getting Jorge Cervante's growers bible and The marijuana garden saver book by stitch than to come on here and ask for advice. There are a few people who do know what they are talking about but a lot more who don't. You're going to mess up your currently healthy plants if you listen to these guys telling you to put an oscillating fan directly on your seedlings and a 400w MH 10" away!
Seedlings only require 4000 lux to grow! A 400w MH puts out 40,000 lux at 12" away! At 2 feet a 400w puts out 10,000 Lux and at 3 feet 4,500 lux. So actually, 3 feet is perfect for seedlings if you are using a 400w. 2 feet is the absolute closest I would go at this point. It's not just about temps. When your plants start to look dehydrated and tired, try backing off the lights and turning off the fan until they are a bit bigger.
Getting back to the main point, your plants look fine. Listen to your plants but don't be one of these guys that is constantly freaking out every time a leaf curls a little bit at the tip or you see a bit of yellow. Mary is a tough girl.
Getting testy again heh? Like I said before, take it easy. It's a forum and you (just like everyone else here) are entitled to give their opinion. He didn't just ask your opinion, he asked what everyone thought. Just because you think everyone's answer is wrong doesn't mean you should get like that. And messycan, I too own the bible and I'd like to share a couple of lines from it if you don't mind. Page 324

Air Movement- Air movement and circulation are essential to a healthy indoor harvest. Indoors, fresh air is one of the most overlooked factors contributing to a healthy garden and a bountiful harvest. Fresh air is the least expensive essential component required to produce a bumper crop. Experienced growers understand the importance of fresh air and take the time to set up an adequate ventilation system. Three factors affect air movement: stomata, ventilation, and
circulation.
- Circulation
Plants use all CO2 around the leaf within a few minutes. When no new CO2-rich air replaces the used CO2-depleted air, a dead air zone forms around the leaf. This stifles stomata and virtually stops growth. If it is not actively moved, the air around leaves stratifies.
Nowhere in the Air chapter, nor any of the parts about seedlings does it say
Don't put an oscillating fan on those! Just don't put it too close to them to where it's pushing them or shaking them. And as far as the light, I agree that you should lift it. At least to 18 inches, if not 24. In your first post you said you waited to turn the light on until they all sprouted, does that mean that 1 may have sprouted before others? I only see one that I'd consider stretched and I'm wondering if maybe that one sprouted before the others. Like everyone is saying, relax, it's only been 2 days. Keep us posted and good luck. chunky
