Are my plants confused sexually ...grin

Hello:

I have a question about light cycles:

I have my veg room set for 18 hours of light with 6 off during the warm part of the day....so its dark for 6 hours....until I decide that I need to pop in there and smoke a hit or check something for 15 minutes when I turn on the fluorescent light. I am just wondering because my plants almost look like bud sites are forming.....or is this normal to see where buds will be before you actually switch the lights to a 12 12 schedule?

most likely what you see are more leafsets growing above the primary fan leaves... flowers will not start with less than 12 hours of darkness unless you have autoflower girls. which you would know if you had... post a pic bro

well i cant see any tells of flowering in those pics. maybe im blind... but it seems like thin leaf growth because theyre staring to show their sativa side at maturity. do you see WHITE, ALMOST CLEAR hairs, or clusters that look like a small bundle of green grapes??

Nah, those aren't budsites. But, you should be able to see small preflowers at the internodes, if you look closely. Have you sexed them yet? If not, get us some close-ups of those nodes, and we'll be able to help ya out. They look far enough along in veg, to be showing preflowers.

I see the pre flowers. They were all clones of females so sexing should not be an issue unless they go hermi right. That one that is showing its thin leaves had some strange leaf growths where the leaf would grow in a almost s shape on on of the five leaves. It also has had kinda thin ones....its strawberry cough. The one on the right that is...the one on the left is sour diesel or snow dawg...I dont remember by the pic. They are all looking fabulous sofar. I need to start a journal as I have 10 different strains going for my first grow....hehe pretty crazy shit huh... Should be intresting.

Here is a few more pics. The one with the plants where they are really green is about a week ago. The pic of the cabnet in progress is my veg chamber to be. Im gonna get a t5 light for that next month. Also included my first attempt at super cropping ...the plant was stretching more then the others.

No problem hopper...if you need any more assistance feel free to ask. Just a note...the first pic was a female at 8 weeks old...and the second was a 5 week old plant...depending on strain and conditions...most plants will show between the 5th-8th week of growth, givin you are using a schedule of 16/8, or 18/6, i really do prefer the 16/8 schedule.
