Omega Black 720w LED Any good .?​

I know a guy that runs a few of them.
He likes them.

I have more expensive lights, can't really tell any difference in yield, I've never tried testing them against mine with a light meter.

I don't believe the umols per joule they advertise, but they create nice plants regardless.

I call bullshit on their ppf/w spec until they show independent testing. Diode count, price and 3.2 per watt does not line up, and the practice of up-marking specs is very common between the cheaper led makers.

If I'm reading correctly, they are using an HPS ballast instead of an LED driver? Not an EE, but that seems kinda weird.

They are yeah, there's a lot of companies that were popular in the hps ballast field knocking out these lights, probably all the same light.

You can literally buy those ballasts for £15 though.
