Are some strains slower to flower?

I'm growing Bruce Banner, Strawberries and Cream, and Gary Payton, in a 4x5 tent with 1000w HPS. (BB and GP are clones; SC came from bagseed.) I flipped to 12/12 about 10 days ago. All of them began to show signs of flowering within about 48 to 72 hours of the flip. Gary Payton is verrrrry slowing, barely showing signs of flowering. Can anyone help make sense here? TIA.

Yes different strains have different bloom times. Fast flowers can be done in 7weeks some pure sativa strains will run 16 clones tend to be a little faster then their mothers

I've always figured that extra time would only show up at the end, as they were finishing. But some of those also start slow, too, huh? Never new that, makes some sense though. :) Thanks, mate.

Most plants will take 8-10 weeks of 12/12 to finish. Heavy sativa plants can take up to 15 weeks. "Fast Flowering" is kinda a gimmick. You can get cuttings that are proven to ripen within 55 days but the chance you get a seed from that plant that finishes in the same time is very unlikely.
