Are the buds too small for a 40-ish day old Auto-flower?

Hey guys; i believe i started this seed on the 15th of May or probably on the 20th. I'm not sure which, i should've saved the date on my phone. Anyway i want to know your advice on my plant. Are the buds too small for this 40 day old auto? It's a Green-O-Matic from Green House Seeds Co. and it say's it takes 65 days from seed to harvest.

Edit: Also, do you think i should prune a bit for more light?

There's barely anything too them. I'd say another 6-8 weeks. Yet another example of why I don't use autoflowers.

1. Green House Seeds is not a breeder known for their integroty, quite the opposite.
2. 65 days is clearly absolute bullshit in this example. DO NOT harvest at day 65. Google when to harvest cannabis and use that as your guide, not a breeders number (many many breeders will exagerate many things, because they can never be difinitively disproved for many reasons. It's actually daft, breeders who have little stability and sell strains with many phenotypes, due to the variance, they can get away with more lies, because if you don't see anything like they saw, they can jut claim it's becuase you have a different pheno.

In short, ignore the 65 day thing, learn about when you harvest, and secondly, GHS are generally not to be trusted or used, many MANY better alternatives (check out breeders boutique! great genetics, they tell you exactly how it is, even down to the potential of male parts on a certain strain, and best of all, it was created through this forum by awesome guys from around the world sharing genetics and knowledge)

Thanks for the great advice man, a friend told me about how great GHS are since they created/developed the White Widow. Guess he was wrong, I did try out the Dinafem Cheese (Photo) and transplanted it to my spot in the forest. It was growing marvelously but a few weeks ago i went back to check on it and it looked like someone (or something, though it looked like a pair of scissor cuts) snapped its lower stem. By the time i got there, there was nothing i could do, it was all dried up :\.

6-8 weeks sounds just about right man, i was worried my buds were at their fullest. Thanks again

With regard to the white widow. That's a slight bending of the truth. It was more along the lines of shantibaba creating/posessing (i forget the details) the real white widow, and got fed up of Arjan so bailed out of GHS and took his genetics with him and started Mr Nice Seedbank and sold it under the name Black Widow. If you want real widow, it;'s the Black Widow you're after.

Arjan of GHS is not a breeder, none of them are. They are a company that specializes in advertising. they typically get sales from firt time growers who see all the cannabis cup stickers on the strain pictures, but a year down the line most wont touch GHS after they realized just how mediocre they are compared to the competition. do not get me wrong though, you can find some great phenotypes from GHS gear, but it's quite a hunt, and the majority of stuff is just average to crap.

Interesting I'll keep that in mind, seems like a cheap seed company to me. What about Dutch Passion and DNA Genetics? I've heard good things about them, especially the Blue Auto Mazar strain from DP.

Thanks, I've been willing to order a few Auto-Mazar seeds but i'm moving in end of September to Rotterdam. So hopefully if all goes well, i could order some from there and start experimenting indoors.

Yes NEVER GO BY THE TIME GIVEN BY THE SEED COMPANY!! ITS ALWAYSSS SHORTER THEN NEEDED TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER!! Ya im not a fan of GHS myself!! Dinafen and Dutch Passion have some VERY GOOD auto strains. And i havent seen a auto NL thats EVER been small! But I just think that people who grow photoperiod strains WILL NEVER BE A FAN OF ANY AUTO!!! UNDERSTANDABLY!! Why would you. Esides the 90-100 day time period grow plants that would onlly give tou sub par yields compared to photoperiod?? I get it. Just not fpr some growers. Myself I LOVE AUTOS and the ability to try many diffrent strains to find the few that I really like in a short period of time and not having to wait 6 months to harvest.

I had this strain before. One entire package failed germination and got another sent for free by the retailer where only two seeds popped and got next to nothing. Never getting GHS again
Whos seeds are these again and what stfain?? Im a REAL BIG FAN of Dutch Passion, Dinafem, Nirvana AND ALLLL SWEET SEEDS AUTO PRODUCTS!! :) also try skunk mass they have always been amazing for me.

Actually i too bought the 5 pack, and guess what? Only 1 out of the 5 seeds germinated and you're looking at it haha

What method of germination are you guys using??? When I started autos I thought that since everyone said use one pot and ONE POT ONLY I would germinate in the soil BUT THAT DIDNT WORK AND 85% OF MY SEEDS WERE DUDS!!! EVERYYYYYYYYTIME!! Using the papertowel and 2 ates or a ziplock bag now have a 85% germinstion rate EVERYTIME WITH EVERY DIFFRENT STRAIN AND BRAND OF SEED!!

party cup size pocket of seed starter in the final pot in the middle of the final soil seed goes straight in no soak or nothing
