are there any early signs of the sex of a plant?

what i mean is even before you start to flower them can there be any characteristics of a plant that would be that of a female and others of a male that you can notice early to tell the difference

Not unless you keep them in veg until they are mature enough for flowering or unless you obviously flower them... looking at the plant in any way will not help you judge the sex of the plant so it all pays of with patience and buying feminized seeds and not using bag seeds :p

With my current grow I've probably been vegging for around three weeks and I have three plants; I've fimmed one, topped one and LSTing the other one to compare the results. You should probably wait until you reach about 4 weeks of veg before you bloom if you want a decent yield but my current grow is sort of experimental so yeah... :D

im on week 4 exactly today but theyve really only done a good amount of growing in the last 2 weeks because for the first 2 weeks they were in poor conditions but then i got them they still only had there first 4 leaves and was pretty stretched so im wondering if i should wait a bit longer i am growing 3 as well
