For $9, you could buy a REAL Cob, Citizen CLU-048-1212 and get 5-8X the amount of light. These aren't worth the price even that cheap.

That is one of the "best manufacturers" products. If they are rated at 25K hours what makes any DIY'r truly believe they are going to get 100K out of there Macgyver Rigs?

No idea, I dont do Ingrish or fancy myself an electrician.

I'd rather buy the fixture.
