Nope. Depends on the plant. Where I am, we wont see 12 hours of darkness until the end of September and my girl outside is already flowering.

kick start your flowering by putting your plants in COMPLETE darkness for 24 hours

there outdoor...so very hard to cover.... will a black tarp over my enclosure work(its the one in my avatar)...thanks all...I hope that first one is a preflower because all 10 look similar.....

no you could bring them in and put them in a closet for 24hrs.

there in the ground or I would .... I guess I just need to wait longer.. everybody on here is saying that flowering should start in the next couple of weeks.... gentle weeping jesus I hope it does....

do not try to force flower them. there is no reason to.

the second set of pics appear to all be female.
