Hello guys, Im new to both growing and rollitup. This is my first grow. I am growing two strains which are Bruce Banger and Cheese. My Cheese plant is kind of sick and heat burned from the lights. Please let me know whether or not they re ready for harvesting. Any other suggestions, tips, or recommendations please let me know.:D

They got flipped to flower at the same time and the flower time for both strains is 9-10 weeks, but the cheese looks a lot more done than Bruce. So I dont really know what to do. Do I wait for bruce to finish flowering, which means harvesting cheese late? Or should I harvest the cheese now, which means that Bruce harvest is going to be a little premature. I will have to dry in this same tent because I can control the temp and humidity.

Well the cheese does look close. I might give it another 5-7 days. The bruce banner looks like 3ish, weeks still believe it or not. I would rather hang the plants in the tent above the lights or find a closet or even a cardboard box to dry the cheese in I would not harvest the Bruce that early.

I can hang it to dry in the same tent while the lights are on? Wouldn't that mess with the potency of the bud?

Sorry I might have misunderstood. So what youre saying is harvest both the cheese and Bruce now, even though it is a bit early to harvest Bruce?

i don't think either looks ready to come down yet.. they look killer, just not ready. of course, just my two cents..
the cheese looks closer, but i'd still give her another week plus or so easily, and the bruce isn't even close to the harvest window yet..
Ideally I would like to harvest the cheese first, but if I do that I wouldnt have the drying space for it, since I can only dry them in the same tent, which is still in-use for finishing Bruce

I don't think it would hurt to let the one keep going until the other finishes..they both look like they could go longer..and I personally dont feel it would hurt either way..give em both a few more weeks..I know it gets impatient waiting..but if it will be more of an inconvenience just let em both go..and you'll have a full harvest to look forward to..

Sorry I miss typed I corrected it. I think the cheese needs another week.

The Bruce needs about 3 weeks

Drying in the tent with the lights on is not ideal, but its also not the end of the world. A closet or cardboard box would be better, even a box in the tent with air holes so the buds were shaded.

Alright, I will just let both of them go for another 2-3 weeks, and harvest them all at the same time. If worse comes to worst, I will see how the trichomes are doing on the cheese, if most of the trichomes are turning amber I will harvest the cheese first, and dry it in a cardboard box inside the tent.

thank you guys for the help! :) :)

what makes you think that this is not my first grow? lol

It is truthfully my first grow haha no coughs no bullshit
Nope not ready. Wait till most of them white hairs on your buds are mostly dried up. Most turn orange but some dont. Thats the easiest way to tell. When bout 80 % of them white buds hairs are dry your good. But even thats not a science. And i always harvest at the end of a dark cycle. Never on a light cycle

You can dry in the tents with the lights on I do it all the time there is no noticeable difference in potency between buds dried in the dark or with the lights on and even if it does slightly lower potency it’s not perceptible. I tested this plenty of times and u can not tell the difference.
