are these lights to close?

I am not a proponent of 125w cfl bulbs. I figure for the money a 150w HPS with a 150w CMH is a far better use of funds. I like my CFL bulbs cold and close. Otherwise, if I'm going to be dealing with so much heat that the source can't be kept within 6 inches then I go HPS.

27w CFL bulbs grow some beauties. The larger wattage bulbs are more comparable to a cheap alternative to LED.
