That's what I'm doing. We have frys electronics, microcenter and I'll find another option if I have to. It's a minor problem and the only one so far. The lights have done well but still disappointed about this whole situation.

Jeeyah, The fact that the light broke twice is a major issue, you want to plug and play for 10 years that s why we spent so much money. Plus your Rw 150 came out after my af600 and 2 outta 3 still running 100% the other one runs at 88% (2 out of 16 clusters stopped working last year, couldn't be bothered to fix it) that's how it should be. Having to repair a LEDs is no better than having to change hps bulbs...

I tried to find stats on the Closet Case but could not. They also have a 100w lamp called Mothers little helper for the same price listed at 9,000-10,000 lumens. The w90 is probably hitting 11,000 lumens. The T1-2100 is putting out over 12,000 lumens.

Either the Tasty or A51 option would be a better deal. The Tasty would be $10 more each plus shipping, but similar value for the extra output. The T2-2100 would be under $400 with shipping... not the perfect footprint but yield would be similar and in all these cases we're examining, the PPFD would be under 500, so plenty of room to upgrade in the future which might make the T2-2100 more appealing.

I tried to talk them into a T3-2100 since it would be more ideal for a 2x4. :) although, going with the T2 and adding another one later would ultimately provide the superior PPFD.

Which light would you recommend in a 2x4 veg tent? I've been eyeing the T2-1750, but I'm afraid it could be overkill. The tent isn't very tall.

It wouldn't be overkill but even a T2-1400 would veg a 2x4 tent. How tall is the tent? If it's just veg it's probably not an issue since the plants will only get so tall anyway.

I've been leaning towards only building 1400 and 1750s by request except for the T4-1750.

It's 5' tall maybe? The aero tub is about 24" of vertical space. The most I can get the light off the canopy is 18" I had a Timber CXB200 in there, but even dimmed all the way down and raised all the way up, it was scorching. Does that mean you'd be focusing mainly on building out the 2100 line, and just doing special order 1400 and 1750s?

Yes exactly.

The Timber CXB200 is running the cobs harder so dropping the current to 2.1 amps would allow the lamp to be a little closer, but with a small size lamp you're going to want at least 16-18 inches height anyway to get a 4ft spread on the light.

If you wanted a single lamp you could lower, a T3-1400 would spread the light out better and allow you to get good coverage at 10-12" above the canopy, 83 par watts, basically the same output as the Timber but from 3 emitters with a 150w draw from the driver. The PPFD would be just over 500, strong for a veg intensity but nothing extreme. The T2-2100 would provide slightly less light in a tighter package, not really meant for a 2x4 but could work as a veg lamp.

I've actually moved the Timber into the flower tent with the others and picked up a T5 until I decide exactly what to do/have the money to act.

My preference would be to have a light that would cover the spread, but I wouldn't have to lower. I could leave it at a set height and just grow the plants to that height, and move them out.

Is the current run of 1400 and 1750s available on your site the last run before going to custom only?

Yes, I'm working on a batch of lamps now, just 2100 series and 8 T4-1750s. A custom request is not something that would need to be paid upfront. If someone backed out on a purchase it would be no big deal, I would just list it as stock. The exception would be if someone wanted a T5-1400 or other combination I don't list on the website.
