looks alot like colorados to me. also looks alot like what MT is wanting to do to us. sucks you have to be a resident for 2 years. my backup plan if MT implodes in january was to move my dispensary there. its where my wife is from and all her family

it would be awesome to a remote database to verify a patients status, also could be used for tracking sales, etc. Would be able to call in to change a patients caregiver and have it done instantly-meanwhile the state could change the patient's status with the old caregiver. would really be much better for the patient. This having to wait months to get a card or change your caregiver sucks. It is almost 2011 afterall.

"Must cultivate 70% of your own medicine"

So, if a dispensary has a huge membership then AZ must allow growing in quantities that will support 70% of patient's use. What will they do when the dispensary cannot keep up with demand? Just wondering how this will all work out for my desert friends.

And the other 30% has to be DONATED, not purchased... The law is going to need work just like in other states.

The 70% thing is very retarded but the Health depertment guy WILL HUMBLE has no clue what he is doing for the most part. He took that part from the law just pssed in Colorado which is absolutely horrible for Colorado patients and it was not very well thought out.

This is like telling a pizza shop they must grow 70% of their own Tomatoes.

Quality of the medicine will be shit since the quality growers won't be growing it and Dispensary folks will.

Well, there is no reason why dispensary folks cannot be growers as well. Or, there is no reason why a Dispensary cannot hire a grower. These companies are non-profit, that doesnt mean people cannot get paid a salary for working there.

Very true. There are lots of not for profit's out there that have salaried staff and even boards running them! This sounds like an opportunity to have a very large LEGITIMATE grow with full time tending staff.

Does anyone know the legalities for patients who grow? I live in cali but I might move to az if my parents move back to cali... I know here in Riverside county it's 6mature/12immature, is it the same in az?

If your within 25 miles of a dispensary you CAN'T grow, OR have a caregiver provide to you.
