I see no answers Beenthere. I feared this. You don't seem to be answering questions, you seem only to be claiming you did, or running around in circles or accusing others of not answering questions when you yourself posted this thread. I anticipated your actions by starting my own thread in which I am answering all questions put to me without games or insinuations. Can I expect you to do the same here?

Are you claiming at this point that you have answered 90 percent of the questions put to you in this thread?

You see, this is what happens to anyone who must distort reality in order to fit it into their ideology. It isn't you Beenthere, it is the majority of the right. One of the few questions you actually answered was that you were not a right wing authoritarian.

Here are some of the attributes of a RWA:

1: Faulty reasoning -- RWA’s are more likely to:

  • Make many incorrect inferences from evidence.
  • Hold contradictory ideas leading them to ‘speak out of both sides of their mouths.’
  • Uncritically accept that many problems are ‘our most serious problem.’
  • Uncritically accept insufficient evidence that supports their beliefs.
  • Uncritically trust people who tell them what they want to hear.
  • Use many double standards in their thinking and judgements.
2: Hostility Toward Outgroups -- RWA’s are more likely to:

  • Weaken constitutional guarantees of liberty, such as the Bill of Rights.
  • Punish severely ‘common’ criminals in a role-playing situation.
  • Admit they get personal pleasure from punishing such people.
  • Be prejudiced against many racial, ethnic, nationalistic, and linguistic minorities.
  • Be hostile toward homosexuals.
  • Support ‘gay-bashing.’
  • Volunteer to help the government persecute almost anyone.
  • Be mean-spirited toward those who have made mistakes and suffered.
3: Profound Character Flaws -- RWA’s are more likely to:

  • Be dogmatic.
  • Be zealots.
  • Be hypocrites.
  • Be bullies when they have power over others.
  • Help cause and inflame intergroup conflict.
  • Seek dominance over others by being competitive and destructive in situations requiring cooperation.
4: Blindness To One’s Own Failings -- RWA’s are more likely to:

  • Believe they have no personal failings.
  • Avoid learning about their personal failings.
  • Be highly self-righteous.
  • Use religion to erase guilt over their acts and to maintain their self-righteousness.

Now certainly no one has all of these traits and neither have you, but the point here is that in order to overlay one's ideology onto reality, the authoritarian must bend that reality. If you have the belief that you have answered 90 percent of all of the questions posted to you then you will have had to do just that.

It is impossible for a true RWA to respond that he is one, just as it is impossible for them to assess their ideology objectively.

Why did you create a thread in which you would answer all questions if you did not intend to do so?

I'll tell ya what canndo, one thing I'm not going to do is go through 13 pages of Q's and A's to appease anyone on this forum.

If you like, ask me a question one at a time and give me a reasonable time to answer them.
Please do not ask a question every three minutes like you did at the beginning of this thread, that is a reasonable request. Now, go ahead and ask away.

Now you seem to be backing off. I asked you if I could ask questions. Now you are qualifying the method in which I must ask them. You could have answered them as they came up, you could as easily go through them now but you seek now, after claiming that you would answer questions, to be more interested in ages, who is questioning, how many pages you have to go through etc.

What this has been reduced to is the same repetitive, thing. I am forced to ask, ask again, demand you answer and then ask yet again until finally the questions themselves have little relevence and you have gotten clear.


you are asking me to repeat my questions - very well, I can understand that.
