I went through sleep early last night. I was tired from all the running around.

Plus I don't think there is a Mexican in the world that does Christmas on Christmas Day. Today is our Christmas! Although, we will be eating Christmas dinner tomorrow like regular people lol
Yah we did our main stuff on the 24th also! Another largely Catholic heritage. Christmas Day was good for a roast goose though.

When I was a kid they would make us wait till midnight on christmas eve. I think that is torture for children. So I let mine open after we eat breakfast.
We didn't have a specific time but it had to be AFTER dinner! At breakfast you were whining about when was dinner LOL. Dinner was light, cold cuts and tomorrow is turkey, tonight it will be a rib roast and a MacMurry Pinot Noir. I'm thinking about vegetables but that's as far as it will probably go.

We would be released to charge the tree around 6pm. First there was the uneasy sitting (more or less) still during a light fish-type dinner ... then more tense waiting in the house's upper levels ...
until The Bell was rung and I and my two sisters CHARGED into the living room. We'd suddenly slow and pretend-behave as we passed the field of fire of the 8mm cine camera my dad set up each year. A friend transferred that vid from VHS to DVD ... I can still remember/imagine the soundtrack between stressed parents and hyper kids.

I'm out of white wine and trying to get the energy up to go to the store to get some, meh, meat and red wine should work.

LOL You guys were just picking up steam when I crashed. I'm chuckling over Pebbles putting the make on god. She's a really good looking pigeon.
