assistance with setting PLEASE!!!

Hi fellow growers,

I am a total newbie, that is a fact.

I have a closet for which I decided to make it my grow & flower space.

Even though I have been surfing around, reading and re-reading, I am finding barriers into making my application.

Some of what I think can be setbacks are the following :

-small space
-possible heat rise by 2x double fluos & 1x HPS 400w Son-T Agro (afraid that will melt everything in)
-no actual exhaust ideas as unable to find and/or apply it to my setting
-cannot find Mylar, is tin foil ok?

Anyway, I made a quick schematic of my closet with measurements and all which u can find attached.

I hope any of u guys can give me a push coz today while up there (it is an overhead closet) I started to lose my hopes.

I guess it might look spacey from the images I made, but I can assure u it is not.

3 and a half feet is quite short for any HID light, if you use flourescents, it'd be great, tin foil barely does anything. if it's a closet, just smash a hole, and if it's a rented place, you can always spackle it up.

Thanks for your advice.

Drilling a hole was something that has been baking my noodle for quite some time, but finally I decided NOT to drill that place.

Regarding reflective materials, what about the foils used for wrapping flowers? Will it reflect AND stand the heat developing in there?

Do you think I can grow with fluos ONLY? What abt blooming? Fluos again?

Any ideas?

3.5 foot is near on impossible space for a hid lamp.

Even with an envirolite your going to get heat issues.

you need to read. you are right, that cabinet looks spacey. 1/4 for flowering, 1/2 for mothers/ vegging and 1/4 for a oscillating fan. Hmmm.... VV

any way you need cut holes in your growbox.minimum for exhaust fan.i use cfl;s for first grow from veg to flowering and heat be a problem for me too.i make a hole for intake pc fan on the bottom and exhaust to the upside of box.pc fans for small stealth box is good way.in pic you see how i fix problem. you can paint box inside with flat white.the best reflective color.

I am thinking of throwing all of my clothes out of my normal closet. Is 4.9 ft better? Even doable?

only white widow to start with. if i succeed, i will try more of course...if not i will try again with what i have!
