Attic Exhaust

Hey guys...just moved into my new place and I want to run a carbon air scrubber exhaust but I'm afraid to make any changes to the outside of the house in fear my landlord will notice. My plan is to grow in my closet and the attic is directly above. If I cut a hole up to the attic and released the exhaust into the attic would my problems be solved? What do you think? Any advice +rep...thanks!

So long as you have a decent fan to push the air out, and through your carbon filter it should be fine. Unless the hot temperatures of the attic stop the heated exhaust... which I doubt.

Then again, i'm a newbie. I NEVER had the balls to grow when I paid rent >_<

i've already done it once so i got over that haha just gotta be smart and know your landlord's habits. but yeah that does make sense. i doubt the heat from the attic would be too much...our house always wreaks of burned weed anyways though so i'm not too too concerned. thanks for the advice....anybody else? anybody that has had to do a grow while renting?

also, i plan on doing SOG. How many plants should I grow in a 14 x 40 x 32 (inch) area? What yield should I expect? Thanks all!

That is a very small area. idk about micro sog but sog is generally 1 plant per sq ft. even lollipopped clones I would say they need at least 6"x6" square to have air flow and that would be crowded at the end.
Assuming the 14" is width and the 36" is length that gives you about 3.86 sq ft or ~555 cu in. So using 6x6" sites maybe 15 if you took consideration of your equipment, etc, that will be sharing the area and only gave the figures of your actual grow area. Like I said, I still think 6x6 spaces per lollipopped clone would be ill advised and this would be pretty much maxing it out. Just my opinion.
