Attic growing...minimum temps?

I am thinking about doing a grow in my attic because I live in a small place, but I am wondering what kind of minimum temps I can successfully grow in. I just put a wireless thermometer in there and currently it is 60 degrees. I am going to check it consistantly over the next week or so to see what kind of minimum and maximum temps I have up there, but what temps can they survive in?

they could be stressed out yes but the heat factor is more of an issue. if youre worried about the cold wrap your pots in thermal blankets to protect the roots. the cold doesnt really effect it as much as you think. cold weathers sometimes bring out the purple color in the plant if its in the genes. but to much cold will stun the growth for sure.

heat wise i kept my shit at 85 for the longest time and there was no issue.. pz

this part I agree with, it's really important you keep the roots warm at all times. wrapping pots will retain some warmth for some time but not all night. Ed Rosenthal recommends growing over a floor of heat cables for cold environments like a basement or garage floor.

It's 1pm and the temps are 72. My lights won't affect the temps hardly at all since I am using a UFO LED and it runs extremely cool. I can feel some warmth underneath it, but nothing significant. I do have a door to the attic that I could leave open to help warm it up a little at night. I have 2 male plants that I was going to dispose of, so I think I will stick them up there for a while and see how they do.
