That was 2 from 2 seeds both look like they may be fem but the plan is if one is male Yoda has the acres to separate and collect pollen

Oh and p.s. guys... those two plants above are some I crossed. I mixed g.ps jelly pie with an amazing cut of blue dream. Pretty stoked because it should be very potent and fruity.

Photos at yodas a very rare for obvious reasons but it's sweet with me cos he's very generous at the end of it

Bit of a rookie question for anyone outhere..
After going over to have a look at ganga gurls thread and seeing the monster outdoor plants on there i thought id ask how many times you guys would top your plants an if yous top the side branches..
Im not expecting to get anything near as good as those monster plants but anything i can to push the girls in that direction be great..
Ive topped most of my plants between 5 n 6 nodes few others i have retopped after that and have been cropping side branches down an outwards, would yous top those side branches or just stick to cropping em out.

Was unsure bout cutting off parts of me plants but after doing it a few times an seeing how good the regrowth is think i will get back out there an hit them all again.. Didnt want to over do it an shock the girls to much they wouldnt grow.
What do u use for your outdoor scrog

As long as the plant is healthy and vigorous...it can take some abuse for sure. I use almost every method from topping, fimming, super cropping, lst (scrog) and will be adding monster cropping to the list as well for the next grow.
I usually do let the plant grow 2 nodes between fimming or topping. I keep doing this til the end of july (in my area) because theh should be in full flower in August where I live
You can do side branches too sure... it all depends on what you end goal is that you want. If you want a flat canopy then let your side branches catch up to the top...If you want a round bush then pinch all new growth at the same time.

I've used cage mesh,rebar,car trailer net a few things over the years
I like a sturdy cage type material for scrog as at the end the colas/buds tend to need that extra strength outdoors for support
I'm looking at a more rounded plant now that I have full sun at the new property instead of aiming for the flat canopy and nothing underneath the scrog that I Normally do
Couple examples of different techniques for scrog here I've done over the years
Not all worked great but u get the idea

Cheers for the link great info.. Been having a read threw and seems uncle ben has great knowledge of the plants. My understandin was you only toppd at 5th or 6th node but to let the plant grow to that height then to cut it back to the 2nd node for 4 mains is mind bogggling for me although i understand how it all works after reading threw his thread..
But if some one came round to my plants an did that in frnt of me before i new wat i do now i woulda been punching on

@ganga gurl420.. my main goal is to have some nice bushy plants so reckon ill leave those bottom side branches an keep tying them out an top the top half of the plant to get the rest of it to catch up to the top.. After seeing that plant you were standin next to in the 200gal? grow bag ive decided im setting my self a goal a thats to have grown something close to or as good as one of those monsters before i stop growing.. not gunna happen anytime soon but its something to work towards

Some nice looking plants ya got there. The trailer net looks like a good idea, ive got a bit of old wire mesh laying around but my problem is ive got 17 plants on the go an not enough stuff laying round to scrog them all so i might just try them on a cple plants to see wat works best for me.

Started with 21 seeds all popped apart fom one then another died not long after breaking ground another got destroyed by the dog and can not remember how i lost the other one. Only dramas ive had since then was one started flowering already but after i topped it an fed it up on some high N think its sorting its self out now fingers crossed anyway and there was another one i snapped in half but still growing strong and im tryna clone the top half but dosn seem to workin out to good..
All in all not a bad run for a first time back after many years.

Can use the cut bit as a clone, so u dont have to throw it away.

Providing i can get that clone to root its not a waste for sure.. need to expirement more withs tryna clone.. This year i grabbed some seeds an slapped together this grow so not really set up for cloning an all that but if i get anything outta it ill be more then happy. Then ill spend time to get a good set up going next year..
