Needs to be/ should be Castile soap - which is 100% pure soap made from a vegetable oil or seed oil eg. coconut, neem, olive, almond etc.

Virgin olive for the win.
It might be said that its not necessary to use dish soap or oil but tge way i see it if its gunna give it better chancee of smothering pests on the plants i will continue addin soap/oil. Will try olive oil next time as ive never heard of using oil.

im calling bullshit on the 50 days, I know guys who feed from the start in terra, even if it is charged it’s not very strong and wouldn’t be complete, definitely not enough in it to flower.

how old are those plants. Seem pretty small.

Don't forget im using a 6 year old mars hydro led so i don't expect HLG growth lol. 1.2 umol if that

My plants stank especialy wen theres barely any wind or light winds need the days where the winds are stronger that way the smell aint hanging round..

the soap in this case is just a dispersant and can be any dish soap etc.

personally I don’t think it’s needed

I’ve done a shitload of research on this topic a few years back. Sure if u wanna use “dawn” or “ivory” dish soap, many people do. Doesn’t mean it’s the best option. Dish soaps are a detergent containing degreasers, fragrances and dyes, which can be harsh on plants and end up causing more harm than good. Still a viable option, just not the best. (Ocd)

Watered em yesterday. They good size, 5 gal pots so they look small. Got 90 degree lateral branching at every node. Gunna need no training

just looking at your pictures your not watering enough. Those plants should be double that size in a 5gal @ 3 weeks old

If that’s the case you might want to consider reducing the size of the pot. If it takes too long for the roots to establish then the plant won’t put much energy into leaf growth. With photos you’d just veg longer while the roots establish but with autos you can’t do that.

With RDWC instead of running airstones in each bucket could you set up the return pipe to land in top of res tank to create waterfall affect creating DO. Would the DO created by that be enough to supply the entire system with DO or would air pumps still be needed

That looks like a Thrip to me. Remember a bit back I thought some of your leaves looked like they had light Thrip damage, think you said you hadn’t seen any. Is that pic from your garden?

Yea sure is. We get fuk loads round here. Another story for ya ill make it short, next door nieghnour went on holidays sent me msg askin if i could water grass an his plants an wat not an said help yaself to apricots went next door to see he has fuck loads of plnts veggies big apricot tree plus at least 10pls smaller ones an you guessed it fuk loads of flyin pests. Chances are im gettin some strays from his crap.

An those little priks in that pic i was thinkin look like regular gnats as i find them everywhere if i light is left on simiular lookin to fungas gnat apart from them not being black. But im far from an expert on the little priks so good chance im wrong
