Just been looking at the dry ice method you mentioned mate. Your right, looks quick and easy. Stuff trying to make a tumbler or new screens.
What i like about it is how simple it looks. Although pressin it probs wouldn work the same as other methods an it could possibly still be powdery after press. I haven done enough readin up about quality such as full melt/ half melt an so on.. From what i understand full melt will press good but it comes down to the screen size used to achieve different quality of hash an so on.. I could well be talkin crap but as i said i gotta do more readin an that on it to fully understand how it all works.

View attachment 4477370Can someone help us out please. What's this issue look like. Only at top on 1 plant near flower sites
This is just a guess purpleberry, but could be a potassium issue? Have you added any pk boosters?
Do you have cal mag deficiencies also? I’m pretty sure excess of potassium locks them out and I think Fe and zinc? (Yellowing of new growth)
I used to have an awesome chart that showed what excess macro/micro nutrients would lock out others.
Someone else may have a better idea...?

I figure the paling is affecting new growth first? What medium are you in purpleberry? Could be worth flushing/doing a res change and using base only nute for a bit? I’ve had a similar issue before in dwc. Something was locking out Fe. I changed out bucket and put base nutes only in and foliar sprayed with AN cal/mag plus Fe. And leaves regained most of the green colour to them. Just a thought

I just went out to hand-water the bush girls (trudging up & down the hill multiple times with a watering can is getting somewhat tiresome - I wish the bastards I ordered IBC plumbing fittings from would fucking deliver so I can just turn a tap on & walk away for an hour.....) & noticed the same colouration starting to show on them as well.

I originally thought it was just an environmental change for the one plant (from a warm, humid tent on 12/12 to outside under current sunshine), but it's showing in all of them, which I'm guessing can only be genetic. Are you getting anything similar (since they all came from the same mother)?

@beernutz reckons it's unusual for IB (3 seasons' experience), so if you're not getting the same thing, it can only be something I'm doing differently.

I'm not overly-fussed about it, as long as the plants are healthy. Apparently, colours have "bag-appeal" (If I was intending to sell it, which I'm not).

On another note, I noticed some nascent male pollen sacks on the most advanced girl this arvo. 'Can't get decent photo's due to the wind.

They're ONLY on the branch that I sprayed with CS. I thought The stuff I used was sub-standard, so stopped applying it, but it seems to have worked (after a fashion), but nothing really impressive.

I've got her next to another mature IB & Gelato OG.

I'm now tossing-up:

1. Let her ride & see what happens. Maybe the pollen sacks won't mature & the female aspects will just override within the buds?
2. If the male pollen sacks mature, I'm looking at an IB x Gelato OG.
2. Chop the entire branch & cut my losses.

This is one time where I'm actually soliciting informed/experienced advice from the cogniscenti.
I'll chat to Yoda about the colours and get back to you...Gotta go out to his farm in the next week

Are you talking about pressing bubble hash into rosin?

Same as using a screen or tumbler to get the kief, just the dry ice freezes the tric’s making them easier to seperate from the material. Should still press. I like how Frenchy did it with the hot bottle.
We just used to put our screened kief in an oven bag and into oven at 120C, take it out and hand press as hard as we could for a while, back into oven bag and keep repeating until we had a nice soft black hash.

Nah m8, extracting the kief and making hashish. Not rosin. Not made rosin yet, that’d be fun too. Mrs might get shitty if I start using her hair straightener though...mmm or would she.
Low temp plates on a press is key. I don’t make it often because it’s so fucking toxic that when I go back to bongs I just have to much of a tolerance.
But pressing bubble hash is next level farrrrkkkkkkkk it’s good if you don’t pass out from how fucking high you get lol
