So far. I’m a bit hesitant to dig to deep. I’m just using h2o2 to keep em healthy tried organic but they didn’t like it everything is stable now. Was thinking chlorine because it’s cheap but unsure of health risks. I have read good things about it
;-), welcome to hydro.
You’ll hear everything from Chlorine to products like pool shock. No need m8, that’s for if the “fuck up fairies” visit, even then there’s better options.
If you run a clean set up and res maintenance is good then H202 is all that’s needed. I use a 50% H2O2. Doesn’t mean you’ll never have probs though.

The other option is using bennies. I haven’t yet, other than seedlings and mums. I’m going to try them next run cuz I already started them on the seeds.

Dunno if its much help to ya dusty but when i was chasing h2o2 Klx put me onto power peroxide, from wat i read its just a higher dosage of h2o2 at around 50% instead of the usual 3%. 20L was only going to cost 160 delivered or something. Would last ya a life time
H2O2 will only last about 6 months (effective) once the container is opened.

@OzyM8 ive been flooding 4 times a day do you think I should up it to 6 now I’m flowering my table holds 35 litres and has 2 clones in it.
I can fill my 4x4’s in just a smidge over 4mins with the pumps I’ve got n just run 10mins every 2hrs light on, no feeds lights out. That works out to a total of 15 mins approx for the full F&D cycle. That’s from clone to finish. Hope that helps.

edit: if you run sterile keep anything organic out of the res.

Good thing theres plenty of uses for it round the house then.

Edit: if ya could reseal it well enough wouldn that extend the shelf life?
No. Once you've opened the original container, it will slowly start to degrade because you've introduced extra oxygen to the mix. You could try refigerating it, but that's just just a band-aid solution. Best use it reasonably quickly &/or buy in smaller quantities each year on an as-needs basis.

Edit: Yeah, plenty of other uses around the house.

Yea fair enough. If ya using it for other things outside the grow room im sure youll burn threw it quick enough. Only mentioned the 20L for a price point sorta deal.
