Temp checks and face masks really? I was at the farmers market this morning and there was definitely a vibe of keep your distance and the stall holders were saying how strict the council and the organisers were being. But temp checks and face masks would have felt heaps weird

yep, I don’t do shopping centres well at the best of times, and being confronted with that at the apple store was like flash backs to a bad trip. I felt faint!

No You wouldn’t do that test or make that comparison at all. Testing runoff ph in coco Is useless and a no no and bad advice to give someone.
it’s not bad advice at all. It’s one of the easiest ways to confirm a ph issue in coco or any medium including soil. If what comes out is different to what goes in than you know the medium is causing the nutrient solutions ph to change. Ie if it goes from a 6 to a 6.5-7 you know the ph of the medium is too high and vice verse of its lower. but as I said I personally think it’s a waste of time unless your trying to find what’s causing an issue not something worth doing regularly.

I've never tested runoff in coco. Slurry testing is messy, and tbh i dont think it's accurate.

If you're noob to coco use quality coco like Canna and coco specific nutes. Ph 5.7-5.9 during veg, 6.0-6.2 during flower. I use Canna Coco AB, rhizo during veg, and pk during flower. Thats it.

Tap water is your friend. Dont use anything but 0.2-0.5 EC tap water unless you really know what you're doing.

Not in coco Reza. Testing runoff is not an accurate way of detecting anything at all. Slurry test is the way to go. Coco runoff is useless to gauge anything at all.
It’s definitely bad advice because someone goes and tests their runoff and goes holy shit it’s way off then start trying to adjust things in the feed and the medium and create real problems for themselves.

What about the blue lab ph tester I seen put up here earlier today does medium and solution if you tested well after feeding it would give you an accurate ph reading of your medium. I'm assuming you water everyday I've zero experience with coco.
