Never heard of it or seen it. Speaker wire normally comes shielded. Learn something new every day. My lap top power cord has something similar.

Soo i'm finally at week 8 of some indica x sativas (pretty sure all 3 are either the same pheno or sour diesel although all 3 plants look different in bud formation) - regardless it's my first grow but i can tell 2 of the 3 will need another week or so - The most advanced 1 has looked about the same for the last week and a bit but barely has 1 or 2 amber trichs per sugar leave although about 80%+ of the trichs are milky with 90% of the pistils orange. Honestly i'm out of smoke and impatiently considering doing a chop for the sake of it against my better judgement... thoughts ?

(fyi just snapped a main cola of one of the four 30 day veg girls :wall: :dunce:)

Post some pics mate if you want proper feedback. I would be very surprised if a sour d hybrid is done in 8 weeks

Let me know if these work: the one sitting at the back with the most developed looking buds is the one I’m considering chopping despite not having any amber :P?
Im aware of different harvest times and there different effects but at this point i could settle with chopping it for the sake of having smoke and letting the others go the extra week or two.. with most if not all trichs being cloudy on one but no amber - would i ultimately be losing much quantity x quality/would it be a short lived 20 minute high?
As for strains @klx it honestly could be a variety of goodies (Banana kush, Bubba Kush, Sugar Skunk, Sour diesel, White widow x big bud, Shiva Skunk)... All thrown into a bag over the year out of ambition more so than methodical planning haha. As too many environmental/intrinsic variables can change the aesthetics of a genetic yet alone different phenos i'm mainly going off of smell as a go to indicator for whats what :P

I've got a perpetual set up as i didn't want to run out whilst waiting for my next run/have to go back to paying constantly rising prices for lesser quality weed so dare i say i wouldn't be heart broken from harvesting the most mature one early but for the sake of getting things right/getting a bigger yield i'd like to convince myself to wait particularly seeing the most mature one is looking the most frosty lol..

Glad to hear it from someone with experience :bigjoint: - I had a goood look but i must either need a better magnifying glass or the far red is cucking me... (will take/add better pics soon)

Being so close to harvest/having 3 plants almost ready and a perpetual motion in the ocean im tempted to play around... harvest one now due to being dry as a nuns cunt essentially and the other 2 whenever as I'll not have the immense urge to chainsaw massacre my 6 months work prematurely.
Could get a bag to tie me over but anything worth smoking is $200+ for a 1/2 and for context i did this on the friday which lasted 3 days.. (annoyingly big glass cp + lockdown means im able to smoke the equivalent of land burnt in the bush fires last year throughout Aus but in weed)
Any volunteers mind being tagged into my grow log for tips/dos&donts?

To be or not to be? ;)

Some are more ready than others. If you can hold out a week then take one down, then another week and take the rest
