i thought of a show they could probably make in the States would be kinda cool to watch, call it Trim Crewz, in stead of boring storage wars, or some reno crap, or fools with bad tats getting sorted, i want to see teams battle their way up some leader board of pounds of weed :weed: to claim obviously bragging rights, and some sort of solid gold cup or some shit worth 100k bongsmilie :weed:

Mate, you gotta know that "reality" TV is about as far from reality as it can possibly get, right?

TV is for people who dislike reality.
Ain't that the truth! I'm having a bugger of a time trying to get my OD beans to pop for this year.

I know I'm a bit late to start, but I had an "issue" with a narky neighbour...........>:(

Gorilla Breath is juuuuust starting to show a minute shoot from the seed after 2 weeks.

TNR is a no-show, so I'm popping all of what I have & hope that I can get at least one to take-off.

'Got a few others on the go, as well as a shitload of chillies. Same germination problems..........

How are you popping them? too cold?

I do 24 hours in a cup of water first (pure darkness), then tap the seed to make sure it sinks to the bottom of the cup (if it doesn't sink most likely dud)

Next paper towels method in complete darkness however during the cold months I will chuck it in a clone tray lid on with a heat matt under it, ensure the paper towels doesn't dry out due to the heat matt, usually see sprouts after an additional 24 hours.

Honestly never lets me down :)

Similar regime:

24-48 hr soak in water with a couple of drops of Milton's fluid & the merest smear of dishwashing liquid to break the surface-tension.

Transfer to shallow Asian sauce dishes between a couple of barely damp Swisspers (make-up removal pads pinched from the Mrs:)). Covered in cling-film.

Into a tent (dark) on a heat pad which is set to 28C & thermostatically controlled with an STC to within 0.3C tolerance. This covers both the weed beans & the chilli seeds.

Some go straight away, some take forever. Maybe just old seed stock.

Yeah shit after reading a couple hundred pages of this thread I realised I’m fucked growing in tropical Queensland storm seasons just begun come flower time I’m looking at minimum %80 humidity and over 35c daily temps …edit* only thing I could think of is supplement light From start of flower until after summer and let it flower closer to winter… we are never ever ever getting close to frost here

Get yourself a big DeLonghi dehumidifier and an InkBird Rh sensor. Works great for pulling water from drying clothes too.

Can't even show you my progress with D-Lotus... I managed to drop a fan and a mini sun on it within a span of 10 minutes. Only got one clone still kicking. So, I'm back to square one.
