personally I’m of the school don’t fix what ain’t broke. The most I’d change in your setup is a res on a timer for auto feeding instead of hand watering. Would still run dtw

I'm going to sound like a Noob.. what does DTW mean ? :P
yeah, I'd like a reservoir on an auto feed ...just not sure how to go about it

drain to waste.

100l tub as the res. Decent sized pump on a timer. Bunnings irrigation pipe and fittings. I wouldn’t bother with drippers. Just run 10mm pipe from the pump to the tent. Then run 4mm pipe from the 10mm to the pots.

Fairly straight forward setup that would work a treat reza.
But....
Id Make dripper rings around the pot outta the 4mm as well all it would take is a few extra t piece connectors probs another metre of 4mm

I agree.. Ive seen these rings around the base.. I'm thinking it would distribute the water evenly

Yea that was my thoughts behind it aswell. Not sure wat you plan on using as a medium but anythin soil like i would use the hoop feeders as thats how i would set mine up. But old mate reza an the boys on here know allot more then myself

I just use coco Coir as a medium... I like Reza's plan

open 4mm is generally preferred. If you don’t get full coverage from 1 hose use 2. Making a dripper just puts something in the system that can block up and rings can create air pockets if they don’t have enough outlets or sit flat. If your really worried about even coverage the floraflex matrix plates go pretty well

They look alright allot easier to rig something up yaself though.. like the look of the flora circulator rings more then the plates. Thats my 2 cents anyway

floraflex is good gear but expensive for something you could build with bunnings irrigation supplies. I like the caps which are all I’d buy of there’s.

The circulator rings are designed to be used with the matrix plates and pads.

Yea they got some good gear agree thats its exspensive for stuff ya could make ya self.
These are circulator rings i was looking at but they only do a 3inch by the look of it. Not much good for anything
