How much chicken manure to bag of soil ratio ?
Also do I need to add Dolomite lime to buffer ph? Any other additives I can add so I just need to use tap water from start to finish ?? Thanks mate

Sounds like a question you should put in the Organics section. You'll get more help there if you're growing organically. Lots of us organic guys use chicken shit, but I'd use oyster shell flour to raise pH personally.

It's not a big deal if you're using chems but that shouldn't be in the Organics section.

Why would you use oyster shell flour instead of regular lime ? Both are simple Calcium Carbonate but one costs 20X the amount of the other.

Get some Organic Xtra instead of straight chicken manure. It's impossible to properly buffer soil P.H if you don't know what your starting point is, so if you're concerned about it you'll need to test your soil first.
Trying to mix a water only mix without any experience is only going to end in tears, Organic Gardening Solutions, Dr Greenthumb and 1 or 2 others sell pre made compost/amendment mixes you add to Peet moss or Coco coir and whatever aeration you prefer

Nah, had a couple of issues and had to re start everything so it'll only be half a season for me. I've got a couple of ideas that might salvage it though

Im thinking of doing a small run to waste can ya just sit trays under the girls an not worry about runoff to much leave it there an let it get sucked up or evaporated.

In that scenario, it's not really DTW, is it? You're containing the minimal runoff & concentrating the salts buildup in the medium.

For a short period, it'd probably be OK, but you might want to do a weekly "flush" with half-strength nutes that genuinely drains to waste.

I use drip clean now and then

Oyster shell flour is milder. And it's just what I use. Nothing wrong with lime.
