Hey Guys thought I'd post this up and get some opinions. This outdoor grow is a test and I'd like to see what you think so here's the following information.

The strain: Auto Flower Zkittlez
Growing in Vic right now snack bang start of winter. Yes there is perlite in my soil however I've since added a little top soil covering the perlite you cannot see.

The facts. This gets enough light (all outdoor) no supplemental lighting. The amount of light (duration) it receives is more then sufficient to make it grow.

The questions. Will it grow? how will it turn out you reckon? there going to be coming out of these domes once it fills out. This strain is suited to cold weather that's why I purchased it just to try.. Remember this is a test, I've got remaining seeds kept away for a summer grow. Cheers

your gonna need a light if you want to start a grow now, that is if you want anything much to smoke,

plus its an auto they need more light

zkittles is an great tasting and easy as strain to grow, start prepping the soil for your larger pots now, and get a light ready

now is a perfect time to set up indoors, you'll actually get some smoko that way,

use your spot you got after winter, for this next summers grow

its funny cos i thought i could maybe finish off a few much bigger plants outside a month or so back,

they were going ok until just about now, when it got super cold n wet, even the ones under cover are gonna go in an old tent tonight.
or they wont finish, and probly turn to rot and im not in vic, id say its all over down there

Cheers guys I appreciate the replies and will look to invest
what light can you get you hands on right now,

Say a twin floro hung 5/6 inches from them on 18/6 will give you few weeks to save up before you need something better

my advice for noobs as a first light to start off with in winter and also as a back up light when all the new fancy crap shits itself,
is just a good old 400 w Hps, a sontiagro bulb with just an open hood

I've still got a sativa, pink Floyd, outdoors under cover still chugging along, by the look of it I'd say it's got a couple of weeks to go, had a couple of frosts last week, doesn't seem affected yet, can't believe how long its taking, hope its worth it

bad idea. They’ll sell you every gimmick you don’t need and an inflated price.

just grab a cheap tent, fan/filter Combo and 400w magnetic ballast hps, and new bulb (son-t or Lucagrow) off eBay. You’ll get all that for less than a light from the hydro shop.

I had 1 go to June a few years ago. Gets to the point it's to cold and stops flowering. Hope you get to harvest it

Put it in a Bunnings 13 dollar greenhouse. You will only get a few grams per auto during Vic winter.

I reckon that will knock your socks off lol

From Mr Nice: In the Southern Hemisphere June would be an expected time of completion, but too south again we would not recommend for outdoor flowering to completion as the cold and rains can inhibit the plant finishing properly
