Lack of warmth and light would be your catalyst. Finishing off with colder temps with phenos that have blueberry through them, old school landrace like Afghan, will bring out some beautiful hues. But trying to get them to run during winter in the complete opposite is akin to kicking sand in your own face. However greatness is never gained, learnt, achieved by doing what the masses do. Try something different like what you are doing could yield something different. Would love to see the outcome.
Nice thanks mate I'll be posting back in the future for sure with however it went good or bad cheers

Guys grow through winter in the US and Canada in tiny greenhouses, they just utilise tube heaters and throw a blanket over it at night time.

I've been trying to flower another couple plants for a seed run outside in an Aldi greenhouse, they got to about 2 weeks into flower and have stopped growing. They're not dying, but not growing either, colds fucked them
Thanks for the reply mate really love hearing the feedback of expericenes in cold weather sorry to hear to hear she stopped growing, I will try and utilize a blanket and heat in some way to help, will post back in the future the results thanks heaps

I can vouch for them
The dude that breeds is using genetics that i would be the only one in aust to have ( theres a story as to how he and myself got hold of those beans in 2015.
Orange o.g, grand master kush ,sr71 etc
You could send him a pm and ask what strains he has at the moment with these in them....
Amber dragon has the orange o.g and sr71 in it crossed with honeybee
Id recommend that one and and orange dreams
I’ve already got me hands on a ten pack of dragons dream.

A blanket :wall:
the cheapest 80 x80 160 tent

or get the 1 x 1 x 2 mtr tent with a fan n filter

one of these setups pays for itsself after a grow

Fuckin heaps can’t
haha, its not that hard, i just thought if he stuck his zkittles under a floro on a 18/6 timer until the tent is set up, he would actually get some :weed:

looking forward to seeing the worlds smallest outdoor auto grow, using a blanket to manage frost

its a bit of a waste of time,

I ment in general mate wasn’t having a dig at all, just to some of the newbies that no it all and have never grown a plant before.

Hey all, been getting great info from this site and come across this thread a bit and must say it's great to find Aussie's, as it can be hard to work out option here with less access. I'm wanting to bite the bullet and get decent dehumidifier without using tonnes of watts from heaps of units, I've collected. I'm keen on the quest units but seems like there out of stock everywhere. Going to double check but are there any other brands that are local in Oz, use low power and pull the same pints like a quest. Seems like they are the gold standard. Reusing the water and saving watts is pretty awesome. And getting RH down at the end willl help me sleep better at night. I've been told 4-5 weeks before they may arrive. Might get lucky and find one in a shop but while searching hoping there's wise souls that have other options. I did find a link at some point but lost it that helped to work out the required pints/liters per hr/day but can't seem to find it but the quest dual 155 was what I worked out to be around what I need and also seems to be the unit the stealth import into Oz. Never seen one for sale second hand either so that tells me they rock or no one uses them. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have tried searching the thread but yet to find recent info.

they all over seeds atm, my mate sent seeds to me from sydney, they found the seeds.
I had 3 orders from the 420 sales, 2 from the UK (Attitude & Seed City) and one from the USA. All 3 came through Sydney and were processed through custom in just hours and made it to rural NSW. Maybe they are doing a blitz on outbound mail from Sydney rather than inbound with the seed scanner. Or i just got really lucky.
