Hey G.O.D, nice harvest looks tasty, just over 1g per watt, too good !

I've still got some Red Dragon pollen which i've saved, do you think its still viable?
Im going to pollenate just 1 small branch on my flowering plant tonight, hoping to get some nice seeds with this cross

The sissor hash was very tasty, the herb smells soooooo potent but I haven't sampled it yet.
One and an eighth of a gram per watt is great, and I pulled her nice and early as soon as the first amber trichomes appeared - so maybe I could have got more. I think that when I finally start using hydro nutes instead of Yates brand "Thrive" and Manuteks Bloom booster, I should get a bit better harvest.

There is only one way to tell if the pollen is still viable :-)

I'll be growing a couple of my Red Dragon seeds in about a months time, about time that I confirmed that my feminised seeds are viable and female.

I've still got the original genetics of that Red Dragon, in fact I have it grafted on three different "mother" plants so I can reproduce the pollen anytime I wish.
As soon as my latest multi-grafted mother gets well established I will kill the other two mothers.
I applied 3 grafts at once 6 days ago and it seems that all have attached successfully.

hey guys and gals,

managed to get myself some salvia leaf ( i went leaf as first time use) but after a cone or two i still felt nothing.....

Apparently you need a pretty decent fucking heat from it so maybe that was my error (ill fire up the vapourizer now to try)

I guess question is, has anyone ever tried it and what was thier experience?

I've only ever tried extract, and ur supposed to use a jet lighter for heat, not sure if vaporizer would work.
If u roll the leaves in a ball and chew them its supposed to have an effect but i think u need extract or shite loads to smoke leaf

Im surprised those cheap nutes done as well as they did, your switch to hydro nutes will deff pack on the extra weight me thinks, your gonna have some fun smoking ze LSD  let me know how the taste and high is, i have an LSD in veg at the moment, so im anxious to smoke that!

I pollentated a small lower branch on my blueberry gum last night, so ill just have to wait and see!
It's gonna be an interesting cross, im keen to see the offsprings seeing how the bbg is mostly indica and the RD is sativa
i do love my sativas so it'd be a nice blend with the bbg ;)

Well, when you change to hydro nutes I highly recommend Cyco range, I am currently using it with wicked results, I've been a trusted Canna user until this round and I will be running with this Cyco range from now on.

Mate some kuta looking leaves, I see why you decided to take a cutting. Clone some more and make a flower patch in your yard, bung a few real ladies in the middle of em and keep em low, would be a nice camouflage for a backyard grow.

just throw in a 600 and keep the 400 as a spare man
600w lights are more efficient than a 1000w and cheaper to run although not sure bout a 600w/400w combo

ya recon mate i was thinking more light coverage with the 600w and 400w side by side so i could space my plants out a bit more

was just gonna veg with 400w then chuck the 600w in for flower aswell.

it wont hurt dont get me wrong i just like to get the most bang for my buck lol
if ya gunna run 2 lights i would save up and get 2 600w lol would pump out heaps more lumens then a 400 n 600 combined and would work out cheaper coverage/energy wise for the plants
but as ya no by know i can be a real scrooge when it comes to costs lol will spend only what i have to but if it means more buds in the long run for just a bit more outlay i will do it if i can lol

ahh another 600w cost me like 220 to 240 and i already got the 400w so might give it a run to start with.

i agree with odlaw, id keep the 400w as a spare and run the 600w, put some money away and buy another 600w, for the money you spend on running both 400w and 600w you wont see a significant difference in yield, so i say save that money on running both and get another 600w in time.
