I thought i mite mention that a really good fertilizer to use to grow massive flowers is Liquid Potash.
Liquid Potash costs about 10-15$ for a 1 litre bottle. Available at 98% of all hardware/gardening stores.
Give your plants 10 ml per week two weeks before flowering starts and continue untill 1 month before harvest.
At 1 month before harvest dont give your plants any more nutrients. Just plain water.

hey guys. both my plants have shown white hairs so i want a fertilizer that has that high phophurous thing goin on. iv looked and looked and basically if looked stupid goin in to a gardening store asking for something high is phosphuous. i read on th net a good solution is 15-30-15 but when i mentioned it to a lady she said they dont make one that high and she told me to buy blood and bone which is 4-5 and no K nutrient. so i have to water with miracle grow aswell. is there anything anyone can reccomend in australia, vic that i can use. my hairs are turning brown already and its only 4 weeks in so im worried. they only are getting miracle grow. the thing is when i was talking to a lady at the garden shop i told her i was growing roses so have i ben given the wrong product for mull plants? (blood and bone) they are in flower stage. mmmm sorry bout the long read

they shouldnt be flowering outside now man, you might just be seeing the preflowers. its normal to see the preflowers in veg, ours has had them since about 6wks old but theyll be vegging for a few months yet.
anyway, i found some nutes at my local Mitre10 garden store
Manutec is the brand
they had a few different ones, a veg mix, a bloom mix, individual elements, a greening mix, micronutes mix, all about $10 ea for 500g of powder.
im using the Bloom Booster atm on my indoors, its got a NPK of 7-15-16 and makes up 500L.
the outdoors are just getting Seasol(not a fert more a soil improver) every 2 weeks for now, still plenty of nutes in the soil(lots of manures + big pot) for the plants yet but we'll be using Yates fish emulsion(5-1-1 iirc) when its needed later on.

hey i posted sum pics of my plants a few weeks back heres an update on how they are doin. in the pic of the big one the stake next to it is 1 metre high which gives you an idea of how big tha monster is lol and id say its stil got another 2 months of vegging b4 it sexes.im hoping she goes female or im gona b pissed off lol but id say there is a good chance because when it was alot smaller two little white hairs appeard in between the start of a branch and the stem which could have been a couple of pre flowers so fingers crossed it goes female. most of my plants have a nice sorta pine tree smell to them so hopfuly i get some nice smelly buds lol
so what do u guys reckon???

here is a quick update on one of my plants i have growing.

grinding up charcoal does not make potash here is a simplified description of how potash is made.
(potassium carbonate. To make potash, you must add your ash to a quantity of water. Any leftover charcoal will float to the top, while the insoluble minerals will sink to the bottom. The good stuff, the potash, will be dissolved in the water. You must separate the water from the charcoal above and the minerals below. Once you have done this, you will have what looks like clear, clean water. But if you boil the water away, or let it evaporate in the Sun, a white, crystalline residue will remain. This residue is potash.)
charcoal will absorb acids in the soil or help break down any.. herbicide or pesticides in the soil ...

Use either Super Phosphate, Ammonium Phosphate, Potassium Phosphate or bone meal. All these u can get from ur local hardware stores in victoria. The most common you will see on the shelf is Ammonium Phosphate & Potassium Phosphate. Just a quick question, how much are pounds going for in VIC and how much are ounces. Just curious too see what the prices there are at the moment.

This is my 1st bagseed grow about 7weeks along, started inside under cfls as when i germinated sydneys weather was horrible, shes outside now, LSD'd and toppd, i live in a unit and want to keep it semi stelth last count about 6-7 colas. She didnt like the transition to entirely outside i live right on the coast so she did get whipd by wind and salt spray but seems to have delt with it at first was looking kinda rough but has been loving this summer sun and is looking healthy again. anyone know approx harvest months???

haha thought it was funny that i dont need to top any of my plants really, we had problems with kangaroos at the start and they would bite off the tops of the plants so mine are all bushy as now hahaha

This is my whole shebang excluding my girl almost ready for harvest & 2 more outdoor seedlings,everything u see is outdoor except the 4 in the orange bubbler,the 3 clones in the rectangle pots are flowerin hermies,plant in green pot just started flowering and the rest i will be planting in the bush this week.
